Since your child spat it out immediately and no piece was swallowed, risk is usually low — but naphthalene can be toxic, so observe carefully.
—Do right now:
-Do not induce vomiting.
-Do not give milk/oily food/ghee to “neutralize” it.
-Give a few sips of plain water only if child is fully alert.
-Keep the naphthalene ball/packet aside and note the time of exposure.
—Go to emergency immediately if any symptom appears: vomiting, stomach pain, headache, drowsiness, confusion, breathing difficulty, bluish lips, fever, seizures, yellow eyes/skin, dark/cola-colored urine, or reduced urine. Naphthalene toxicity can cause GI symptoms and, rarely, blood-cell breakdown especially in children or G6PD deficiency; some effects may be delayed.
— so for proper evaluation take him to the hospital as soon as possible for proper check up and under observation

You should go for a your near by pediatric doctor… because your child age is 6-10 yr as you say…so for better consultation you should go pediatric doctors
