uti remedies - #17346
I’ve been dealing with frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs) for the past few months. It seems like no matter how careful I am, I’m always battling the burning sensation when I urinate, along with that constant urge to go to the bathroom. I went to the doctor, who prescribed antibiotics every time I had an infection, but I’ve started to worry about the long-term effects of taking antibiotics so often. I want to find a more natural way to prevent and treat these infections without relying on antibiotics every time. I’ve heard about several UTI remedies like cranberry juice, D-mannose, and probiotics, but I’m not sure how effective they are or if there’s a better natural solution out there. I started looking into Ayurvedic treatments for UTI remedies and discovered that herbs like Gokshura and Punarnava are commonly used to support urinary tract health. Can these herbs be used as a preventive measure, or are they more effective once a UTI has already developed? Another thing I’ve noticed is that stress seems to make my symptoms worse, and I’m wondering if there’s a connection between my immune system and these recurring infections. Does Ayurveda have any treatments that help strengthen the immune system, reduce stress, and prevent UTIs? Are there any specific foods I should incorporate into my diet to help with UTI remedies? I’ve heard that warm water with turmeric or ginger can help soothe the urinary tract—does this really work, and how often should I take it? Also, I’ve been reading about the role of hydration in preventing UTIs. How important is it to drink enough water, and does drinking too much water help in flushing out bacteria, or is there such a thing as over-hydration? I’m looking for long-term solutions and would love to hear if anyone has had success with natural UTI remedies that don’t involve constant rounds of antibiotics. What worked best for you?
