For the past few months, I’ve been waking up with jaw pain, headaches, and tightness in my facial muscles, and I recently realized that I’ve been clenching my teeth in my sleep. At first, I thought it was just occasional stress, but now it happens so often that my teeth feel sore in the morning. Since I prefer natural healing, I want to understand—why do people clench their teeth, and does Ayurveda offer ways to relieve jaw tension and prevent long-term damage? From what I understand, teeth clenching (bruxism) is often linked to stress, anxiety, or misalignment of the jaw, and it can lead to wear and tear on the teeth, jaw pain, and even sleep disturbances.
