A few months ago, a distant relative was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and the news was shocking because he had very few symptoms until the disease had progressed. His doctors explained that pancreatic cancer is often detected late, making treatment difficult. Another issue is that some people with pancreatic dysfunction experience early warning signs like bloating, acidity, and changes in appetite, but these are often ignored. Since Ayurveda focuses on identifying early imbalances before they progress into disease, does it suggest any digestive tonics, lifestyle habits, or gut-healing practices to help in maintaining pancreatic health and preventing cancer risk? Would following an Ayurvedic detox routine, drinking warm herbal infusions, or avoiding processed foods help in strengthening the pancreas? I also read that emotional stress, poor sleep, and unhealthy eating habits can weaken the digestive fire and contribute to chronic diseases.
