Hello Ahamika, It seems like you're describing a situation where someone is experiencing frequent loss of consciousness or episodes of not responding, which could be a sign of a neurological issue or a condition such as seizures or fainting spells. In Ayurveda, these types of symptoms could be related to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, affecting the nervous system. However, this condition requires urgent medical attention, especially at such a young age, to ensure a proper diagnosis. It's important to seek a thorough evaluation from a pediatric neurologist to understand the underlying cause. Ayurvedic treatments may support the healing process by balancing the body and mind, but first, confirming the diagnosis through tests and understanding the history of these episodes is essential. Has there been any history of such symptoms before, and have you conducted any medical tests like EEG or MRI?

Ahamika Smitha From your description,it sounds like she is experiencing seizures (fits/epileptic attacks). Since they started in January 2024 and have increased in frequency, it is important to get a proper medical evaluation. Important Steps to Take Immediately: 1. Consult a Neurologist – A doctor will check if it’s epilepsy or another condition. 2. EEG (Electroencephalogram) – This test checks brain activity to confirm seizure type. 3. MRI or CT Scan – To rule out any brain-related issues. 4. Blood Tests – To check for deficiencies or infections. After evaluating I can advice you more better

It sounds like you're describing symptoms that might be associated with absence seizures, where a person experiences a brief loss of awareness. In Ayurveda, such conditions can often be related to an imbalance of the Vata dosha, which governs the nervous system and movement within the body. However, it's important to highlight that any seizure-related condition requires prompt medical attention from a qualified healthcare professional to ensure safety and proper management. For a supportive Ayurvedic approach that can be used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment, you might consider several lifestyle and dietary adjustments. Firstly, grounding practices are beneficial for calming an aggravated Vata. This might include regular meal times, incorporating warm, moist, and mildly spiced foods into your diet, like kichari (a rice and lentil dish) seasoned with turmeric and cumin. Avoiding stimulants like caffeine and minimizing cold, dry, or raw foods can also help balance Vata. Herbal remedies might also be helpful. Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) is traditionally used for improving brain function and reducing stress. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is another adaptogen known for its ability to calm Vata and support the nervous system. However, any herbal treatment should always be taken under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, especially when considering interactions with conventional treatments. Regular practice of yoga and pranayama (breathing exercises) can assist in maintaining a calm mind and stabilized nervous system. Gentle poses and alternate nostril breathing are particularly balancing for Vata. Meditation can impact your mental clarity and focus positively. Aim to meditate daily, starting with just a few minutes, gradually more as you become comfortable. Ultimately, collaborating with a healthcare provider who understands both conventional and Ayurvedic medicine—even considering your local health resources in Bangladesh—is essential. Never replace or delay any conventional medical treatment with natural remedies. If you're noticing any seizures increase in frequency or severity, or they're affecting your daily life, addressing it with immediate medical attention becomes crucial.
