Avoid processed sugars, refined carbs (white rice, white bread, pastries), and artificial sweeteners. Instead, choose complex carbs like: Quinoa, millet, buckwheat (better for energy and digestion). Vegetables (sweet potatoes, carrots, beets). Legumes (soaked & cooked properly) like moong dal, masoor dal.

Hello Sorath, It seems like you’re dealing with a complex array of health concerns that affect multiple systems in your body, including your immune system, digestion, hormonal balance, and mental health. In Ayurveda, your symptoms may indicate a deep imbalance in multiple doshas, particularly Vata (nervous system), Pitta (digestion, hormones), and Kapha (immune system). A high-carb diet may exacerbate issues related to blood sugar, inflammation, and digestion, especially if your immune system and digestion are weak. A balanced, anti-inflammatory diet focusing on protein, healthy fats, and easily digestible foods would be beneficial. Herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi can help support the nervous system and manage anxiety, while Triphala and Guggulu can improve digestion and detoxify the body. For kidney stones, a diet that includes plenty of water, hydrating fruits, and herbs like Punarnava and Gokshura may help support kidney health. Have you had any recent tests, such as hormone levels, kidney function tests, or a full evaluation of your digestive system? Also, have you been under a lot of stress, and how are you managing your PTSD and anxiety symptoms?

Addressing the root causes of your health concerns is very important, and Ayurveda offers some useful insights here. Since you are dealing with multiple issues, especially related to your nervous system and immunity, let's focus on a balanced approach. Firstly, your diet plays a crucial role. Ayurveda emphasizes consuming freshly prepared meals that are easy to digest. With carb intake, especially, it would be prudent to focus on complex carbohydrates like whole grains (such as quinoa and brown rice), which have been less processed. They help maintain steady blood sugar levels, assisting both hormonal balance and nerve function. Avoid refined sugars and processed carbs which can exacerbate fluctuations in energy and mood. For hormonal balance, incorporating healthy fats is essential. Ghee and sesame oil are suitable as they also aid digestion and nourish tissues. Consuming them in moderation based on your digestive capacity is recommended. The herbs Ashwagandha and Shatavari can be very supportive in balancing hormones, and they have a calming effect on the nervous system which can help with matters of anxiety and stress. Regarding your immune function, consider a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits like pomegranates, and herbs such as Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) to strengthen it. Regular intake of warm, spiced milk with turmeric can also help protect against infections. Sleeping patterns can be regulated with a consistent routine; try to wind down with calming activities before bed. An herbal tea with chamomile or Brahmi can help soothe and support a restful night's sleep. Avoid stimulants like caffeine in the afternoon and evening. Kidney stones and bladder infections should never be overlooked. Ensure that you hydrate well with warm water throughout the day, adding cumin seeds or coriander for their diuretic and cleansing properties. For more severe pancreas or lymph node issues, medical intervention is advised, and it’s important to follow up with your healthcare provider. Lastly, incorporate regular, gentle exercises like yoga or walking which aids in stress relief and circulation, contributing to overall health. It’s crucial to address PTSD and anxiety through counseling or support groups, which are integral parts of broader healing. Remember, these recommendations should align with your current medical treatments, and any significant changes should be discussed with a healthcare provider familiar with your condition.
