When it comes to infertility, especially with a history of 9 years and multiple interventions, it’s not uncommon to feel discouraged. However, from an Ayurvedic standpoint, it’s crucial to look at the body as a whole system aiming to maintain balance. The fact that everything seems normal except your AMH suggests that there might be subtle imbalances that need addressing.

Infections, as your doctor pointed out, can be hindering your conception efforts. In Ayurveda, infections may be understood as an imbalance in the doshas and often indicate a disruption in Agni (digestive fire), which can impair the body’s ability to nourish and cleanse itself properly. If there’s a possibility of tuberculosis (TB), it’s vital that this is addressed medically and professionally given TB’s potential impact on overall health and fertility.

But on the Ayurvedic front, here’s some things you might consider. Enhancing your Agni is essential. Start with a diet rich in cooked, warm foods. Consider avoiding overly processed foods, cold, or heavy meals that can dampen digestion. Spices like ginger, cumin, and turmeric can help bolster digestive fire. Avoiding foods that irritate your system based on your dosha can also be beneficial.

Additionally, detoxification of the body is considered beneficial. Panchakarma therapy, especially Virechana (therapeutic purgation), might be useful, but only under supervision of a qualified practitioner. Also explore gentle practices like yoga and pranayama, which help in opening bodily channels and promoting circulation, aiding fertility.

Restoring your emotional and physical stress level is equally imporatnt. Stress directly impacts fertility, and incorporating mindfulness or meditation practices may prove helpful in balancing your emotional health.

While it’s possible to increase fertility naturally, every individual is different. Ayurveda advocates personalized health, so consider seeking consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner for tailored recommendations for your unique Prakriti.

And, as much as We’re discussing natural ways, don’t neglet the advice of your medical professional. IVF can sometimes be the necessarry step, alongside natural methods to optimize your fertility to fullest extent.

Hope remains, and with a holistic approach, you’re doing everything possible to enhance your chances of conceiving naturally or through assisted methods.
