It sounds like you might be dealing with some complex issues here. Muscles losing strength without losing weight can be tricky, especially when you're also managing conditions like IBS. Your doctor's suggestion about deficiencies could be pointing you in the right direction, but it's worth considering your situation from an Ayurvedic perspective too. Firstly, given your IBS and muscle weakness, there might be imbalances in your doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. IBS is usually related to Vata imbalance, which can also affect muscles and lead to feeling weak. You might need to focus on maintaining a balance in your digestive fire, or agni, which can be compromised in IBS. Adding mechobal injections for B12 deficiencies is common. However, it's essential to address any nutritional gaps holistically. Ayurveda would suggest a balanced diet tailored to your specific dosha. Consider including easily digestible, nutritious foods such as moong dal khichdi, boiled vegetables, ghee and fresh fruits. These not only nourish but also help in balancing agni. Regular, but gentle, exercises like yoga can help improve muscle strength without overstraining. Simple asanas like Tadasana or Shavasana could be beneficial. They stimulate vitality without aggravating IBS symptoms. For digestive health, warm water with ginger or a simple herbal tea with fennel may aid digestion. Trikatu churna, a blend of ginger, long pepper, and black pepper, can boost your digestive fire if taken before meals, but it's best to consult a practitioner about precise dosage considering your IBS. Keep stress levels in check with pranayama or meditation, as stress can exacerbate both IBS and muscle weakness. While mechobal injections might address a specific deficiency, a comprehensive approach considering diet, lifestyle, and possibly herbal supplementation might lift overall vitality more effectively. And, as always, follow-up with your healthcare provider to address any other underlying issues not covered here. Their guidance is invaluable for precise management.
