Okay, so being 10 days late can definitely make anyone anxious especially when you are trying to concieve. Since the pregancy test is negative it could be that the levels of the hormone that identifies pregnancy are not detectable yet. Sometimes these tests aren’t super sensitive early on. Could be worth waiting few more days (like maybe a week) and testing again.

The cramps and back pain you’re experiencing, they might be your body’s way of signaling that your period is on its way. Progesterone tablets can sometimes cause these symptoms, but they can also delay your period a bit, too. They are meant to help balance your hormones especially if there’s a deficiency.

Now about ayurveda, let’s think in terms of balancing your doshas. Stress, lifestyle and diet are a biggie when it comes to reproductive health. If you’re vata dominant, late periods and cramps might indicate some vata imbalance. Warm, nourishing foods, like a nice bowl of kitchari, and avoiding cold and raw foods, can be helpful.

Adding a little routine to soothe your system might be beneficial – daily self-abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame oil can be calming. Hibernating mode, you know? Warm baths could also aid in reducing tension.

Don’t underestimate the power of herbs. Ashwagandha has balancing effects on the hormones, and Shatavari is famed for supporting female reproductive health. But best to consult a pro practitioner before dabbling, especially since you’ve started on those tablets.

If it’s more than a delay, checking in with your doctor or a gynecologist would be a wise choice just to be sure nothing else is at play. And just a nudge, don’t cause yourself more stress over this! Your mind connects with your body, everything is intertwined.

Hang in there, and try to tune in with your body and notice changes rather than getting too frazzled. You know yourself best.
