However, I came across a question the other day that has been bothering me. I enjoy having ghee with my meals, especially with rice or vegetables, but recently I had fish with ghee, and I wasn’t sure if that’s an acceptable combination in Ayurveda. I’ve heard conflicting opinions from friends—some say that ghee with fish is a great pairing and adds extra nourishment, while others say it’s not recommended due to digestive imbalances. I didn’t experience any major discomfort after the meal, but I’m still unsure if this is something I should avoid going forward. Is it safe to eat ghee with fish in Ayurveda, or does it cause a dosha imbalance? Should I avoid this combination, especially if I’m aiming for better digestive health and overall balance?
