HELLO, CAN ARJUNARISHTA CLEAR HEART BLOCK? ANSWER= NO -Arjuna is well known cardiotonic in Ayurveda It helps in -improving cardiac muscle strength -mildly supporting rhythm stability -reducing angina-like discomfort -supporting cholestrol balance mild effect HOWEVER -It cannot dissolve or clear arterial plaque/blockage Atherosclerotic block requires -medical management -sometimes angioplasty or bypass strict metabolic control Bp, sugar, lipids Since both patients are asymptomatic there is no current indication that blockage treatment is required unless confirmed by angiography IS ARJUNARISHTA SAFE WITH THIER MEDICINES? MALE PATIENT (70+) -On Bp medicines -on diabetes medicines ARJUNARISHTA -contains natural sugars -mildly lowers Bp -may enhance effect on anti hypertensives RISK -low bp -blood sugar flucatuation FEMALE PATEINT (65+) -On Bp medicines -taking Nephrosafe for kidney and creatinine VERY IMPORTANT Arjunarishta is not ideal in compromised kidney function, because -It is fermented contains self generated alcohol -heavy decoction base may burden weak kidneys In CKD patients, classical Arjunarishta is generally avoided SAFE MAANGEMENT INSTEAD OF ARJUNARISHTA-> PREFER 1) ARJUNA KSHEERPAKA- safe for elderly and kidneys -arjuna bark powder= 1 tsp -boil on 100ml milk + 100ml water -reduce to 100ml -take warm in mroning =strengthens heart muscle -gentle on kidneys -no sugar/alcohol 2) ARJUNA POWDER= SIMPLE AND SAFE -3gm twice daily with warm milk after meals Better than arjunarishta for -diabetic -kidney pateints -elderly ADD -Pushkarmoola churna capsule= 1 cap twice daily for rhythm and breathlessness -Ashwagandha churna= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime DIET AND LIFESTYLE Since there are no symptoms, prevention is key STRICTLY CONTROL -blood pressure -HbA1c below 7 -LDL cholestrol below 70 if cardiac risk present DAILY ROUTINE -30 min slow walking -gentle pranayam anulom vilom -avoid day sleep -early dinner before 7:30 pm DIET -warm, light, low salt diet -avoid curd at night -avoid deep fried, bakery, excess sweets -use garlic small quantity, cumin, coriander WHEN ARJUNARISHTA MAY BE CONSIDERED IF -no kidney impairment -diabetes contrlol -given in low dose DOSE -15ml + equal water after meals twice daily But again power or ksheerpaka is safer in these cases For both patients -prefer arjuna powder 3 gm twice daily -avoid routine arjunarishta in kidney case -monitor Bp and sugar closely -continue all allopathic medicines Ayurveda can support heart strength-But it cannot replace cardiology in structural heart disease DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
