This makes it one of the best herbs to pacify aggravated Vata, which is primarily responsible for the instability, erratic fluctuations, and narrowing of blood vessels. ••​Hrudya & Rakta-Prasadana: It acts as a natural cardiotonic (Hrudya), improving blood circulation, reducing cholesterol (Medohara), and preventing plaque buildup in the arteries. ••The Correct Way to Consume Rasona This is the most effective traditional method to deliver the benefits of garlic without its harsh, heat-inducing side effects. ••​How to prepare: Take 2-3 peeled and slightly crushed garlic cloves. Boil them in a mixture of 50 ml water and 50 ml low-fat milk until only the milk remains (the water evaporates). ••​How to take: Strain it and drink it warm on an empty stomach in the morning. The milk neutralizes the excess heat (Teekshna quality) of the garlic while preserving its cardiovascular benefits. ​2. Raw with Warm Water ​If you cannot make the milk decoction, take 1 small finely chopped garlic clove, let it sit exposed to the air for 5 minutes (to activate the Allicin), and swallow it with a cup of warm water first thing in the morning. ••Dietary Adjustments: Strictly reduce your intake of excess salt, deep-fried foods, sour pickles, and fermented items. Incorporate Vata-pacifying foods that are warm, freshly cooked, and easy to digest. ••​Daily Abhyanga: Massaging the soles of your feet and your scalp with warm sesame oil (Til Taila) or Ksheerabala Taila before bedtime does wonders to calm down an agitated nervous system and stabilize Vata. ••​Pranayama: Dedicate 10-15 minutes daily to Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) and Bhramari (Bee Breath). These are clinical gold standards for immediate blood pressure regulation and stress reduction
