My fathers ef is 35 he is taking aspirin tablet can give him arjun chal kadha on regular basis or twice in a week. Kindly suggest

How long has your father been taking aspirin?:

- More than 6 months

Has your father experienced any side effects from his current medication?:

- None

What other health conditions does your father have?:

- Heart disease
$3.51

Doctors' responses

–Since your heart function is low (EF 35%) and you are taking Aspirin, Arjun chal kadha should not be taken daily. You may take it once or twice a week only, and watch for any signs of bleeding.

What other medicines apart from aspirin, he is taking ? Don’t start Arjun shal currently. Need detailed examination and evaluation before starting. If the EF would have been above 50 then would have recommended to use it twice or thrice a week but not in current condition. Regards

Since 5 years his ef level is 35 how can we increase…Tablet dutor super met and Arnoza 100

Yes EF can be made better by taking medicines along with healthy lifestyle. Continue the medicines and avoid alcohol and smoking. Along with that maintain a healthy weight and do aerobic exercises and mild strength training exercises.

Hello As your father EFis 35 and he is already on aspirin so we have to be extra careful towards his additional medication But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 ▪️For your understanding His EF is 35 means that his cardiac function is reduced According to ayurveda it occurs due to vata imbalance with weak rasa and ojas ▪️About Arjuna chal Arjuna is one of the strong medicine for strnegthening of heart As it -Improves cardiac strength -helps to improve circulation ▪️Can it be given along with aspirin? Yes you can give but only in minimal quantity and once a week in starting But monitoring of BP is essential and also give a gap of 45 mins between two medicines ▪️How to take it safely? You can prepare kashaya Take 1/4 tsp of chal and boil in 2 glass of water boil and reduce to half And take once a week Or if you have arjuna powder You can take 1/4 tsp with warm milk ▪️Take precautions -check for any gastric issues -gum bleeding -headache So you can start with arjuna chal but monitor BP regularly Also consult near by ayuvedic physician for physical examination and also to monitor SYMPTOMS Wishing you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

As you have mentioned that your father ejection fraction is 35 which is low maybe there any valvular disese are associated with it ,for proper evaluation more information needed . Arjun is the herb which also used as for blood thinner but it also be given in various form like kadha ,asav, aristh, ksheerpak which one is best for your father can only be decided after proper consultation. So please dont give random arjun chaal till you dont get proper consultation.

Start with twice a week do not use daily without a check up discontinue immediately if brusing or bleeding occurs

As your father EF is 35 fluid restriction is very important he need to restrict fluids up to one litre per day Arjun ksheer pak can lead to fluid overload so before starting any treatment it’s better to show once directly to ayurvedic physician and then start

You can give Arjun ghanvati 1-0-0 after food with water.
Kadha will be strong

kadha would be a strong and concentrated form of preparation. Would rather suggest to give Tab. Arjun ghan Vati 1 tab daily in the morning. Check for any kind of changes after taking the tablet and discontinue if anything noticed.

Follow this regime ??Do?? Eat home cooked food Dinner before sunset or maximum an hour after sunset 100 steps walking after both meals Stress free lifestyle ???Yoga and Pranayam??? Sarvangasan Anulom vilom Bhramari Paschimotanasan ?Dont? Excessive salt Alcohol Tobacco and its products Fried and oily food Processed and packed items Ready to eat meals Papad Pickles Dairy

Since your father’s ejection fraction is 35 it means his heart is weak and he is at risk of heart failure He is taking aspirin to prevent clotting and protect the heart Arjun chal kadha is an Ayurvedic preparation from Terminalia arjuna bark which is traditionally used to support heart function reduce fatigue and improve circulation It is generally safe to use Arjun chal kadha occasionally for example twice a week but daily long term use should be done only under supervision of a doctor or Ayurvedic physician especially because he is on aspirin and has a weak heart There is a small chance that combining some herbal medicines with heart medications may affect blood pressure or clotting You can prepare it by taking 1 tsp Arjuna chal in 300 ml water plus 100 ml milk boil until it remains 100 ml filter and give 50 ml dose Always monitor for any dizziness low blood pressure excessive bleeding or other unusual symptoms and give it separately from aspirin at least one to two hours apart With consistent monitoring proper diet light exercise and careful use of Arjun chal your fathers heart support can improve gradually while staying safe on aspirin

Thank you for contacting ask ayurveda What is the age of your father? Height and weight? Any other medical illness apart from Heart problem Recent 2Decho to see fresh Ef any other blood investigation (cbc , serum creatinine, serum electrolytes) By seeing this reports I can tell whether to continue arjun chal Khada meanwhile you can use it as per me arjun khada 20ml two times a day will be sufficient.

Hello, Can he take Arjun chai kadha with Aspirin? -Yes, but with caution -Arjuna= is cardio protective , improves heart function, and is commonly used in low EF -It has mild blood thinning and anti-platelet effects -since your father is already on aspirin a blood thinner-> there is a small risk of increased bleeding tendency iff taken dailyy in high dose Safe approach -can be given 2-3 times per week -If daily= keep low dose -Avoid high dose or strong decoction daily **Ideal way to give Arjuna kadha -take Arjun chal powder= 5 gm -boil in 200ml water-> reduce to 50 ml -give once daily morning empty stomach or evening -add milk -> better for heart strength and safer Best form (for safety with aspirin) -prefer Arjuna ksheera paka= that cook with milk over strong kadha Ayurvedic view -hridroga + weakened cardiac pumping (low Ojas + rasa dhatu depletion) Goals -strengthen heart muscle -improve circulation -reduce stress on heart Medications 1) arjuna= as above 2) Puskarmoola churna= 1/2 tsp with warm water twice daily after meals improves cardiac function 3) Ashwaganda churna= 1/2 tsp with warm milk at bedtime for strength and EF support 4) Dashmoola kashaya= 15ml with warm water after dinner only if breathlessness present Keep doses mild due to aspirin Diet very important -warm, light food -old rice, moong dal -garlic small amount -cow ghee very small quantity Avoid -heavy, oily, fried food -excess salt important for EF 35% -cold and processed food Lifestyle -light waking no overexertion -proper sleep -pranayam= Anulom Vilom, bhramari -avoid stress, anger, overwork Since EF is 35% moderate heart failure range watch for -swelling in legs -breathlessness -fatigue increase Regular follow up with cardiologist is must Important caution Do not stop aspirin -easy bruising -bleeding gums black stools Stop Arjuna + consult doctor immediately Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
