Seeking Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure - #51999

I have tried many remedies but my bp stays high ( 155/95). Something it drops to 140/85 and some times it goes up to 173/101. I don’t want to take the drugs for it. I would prefer something natural or ayurveda. I am 55, male, average weight and avg build. I walk about 8-10km daily as my job requires constant movement. My doctor did the test and could not find anything specific that would cause it. Would you be able to suggest anything that would help? I appreciate any help or suggestions that you can provide. Thanks Parv

High blood pressure with readings sometimes reaching 170/100 is considered stage 2 hypertension and can put strain on your heart kidneys eyes and blood vessels Even though no secondary cause was found this is likely essential hypertension which develops gradually due to a combination of genetics aging stress diet and lifestyle factors, small daily variations in activity stress ,salt intake and fluid balance can fluctuate … Your daily activity like walking is beneficial but alone may not be enough to control these readings Stress lack of proper sleep ,excessive salt or processed foods and fluid retention can contribute to sudden spikes …Over time high blood pressure can damage organs without obvious symptoms which is why careful management is important Take Normact tablet one tab twice daily Punarnavadi kwath 15 ml twice daily with water Daily monitoring of BP is essential with diet control stress management proper sleep and consistent moderate activity provides the best results

Hello, Your readings (155/95 or 173/101) fall into stage 2 hypertension, so while natural methods can help significantly, this needs consistent management and monitoring. Ayurveda can be very effective here- but it works best withdisciline and combination of diet, herbs and lifestyle Ayurvedic view high Bp is mainly linked to -vata + pitta imbalance -stress, overactivity, heat in the body -blood and rasa dhatu imbalance Goal= calm vata, cool pitta , improve circulation Internal medications 1) Arjuna powder= 1 tsp in warm milk twice dialy after meals =best for heart strength and Bp control 2) Sarpagandha vati= 1 tab in morning =powerful Bp-lowering herb 3) Ashwagandha churna= 1 tsp at night with warm milk =reduce stress induced hypertension 4) Jatamansi capsule= 1 cap at bedtime =calm mind, reduce mental pressure 5) Garlic= 1-2 raw cloves in morning =natural blood thinner Diet- most important follow a pitta calming + low salt diet –fruits= pomegranate, banana, papaya -vegetables= bottle gourd, Tinga, spinach -whole grains= oats, barley, old rice -buttermilk thin, unsalted -cow ghee small quantity- helps vata Avoid -excess salt very important -fried, spicy , oily food -red meat -tea,coffee excess -packaged / processed food *Drink warm water through the day improves circulation Lifestyle you already walk a lot great but Daily Pranayam -Anulom Vilom best -bhramari very calming for Bp Meditation 10-15 min-> reduces root cause (stress) Sleep -sleep before 10:30-11 pm -avoid late nights increases vata Simple therapies 1) oil massage use coconut oil 3-4 times/week =calms nervous system 2) Foot massage before sleep =helps reduce Bp naturally Home remedies -Lauki juice= empty stomach 3-4 times/week -coriander water= soak 1 tsp seeds overnight, drink in morning -amla juice= good for heart + pitta balance Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
