HELLO, 15 years of Nexito plus with moderate daily life affecting anxiety- Ayurvedic management must be gradual . sudden replacement is not advised. IMPORTANT FIRST STEP- DO NOT STOP NEXITO SUDDENLY After long term use, especially with clonazepam -Tapering must be slow over months -done under psychiatrist supervision -Ayurveda can be started alongside tapering Ayurveda works best when introduced gradually as the nervous system stabilizes AYURVEDIC VIEW Your pattern suggests -Vata aggravation-> restlessness, overthinking, anxiety -Pitta association-> irritability -Chronicity-> depletion of Ojas (mental resilience) TREATMENT FOCUS -vata-pitta pacification -medhya (brain tonic) herbs -long term rejuvenation -nervous system stabilization INTERNAL MEDICATION MORNING EMPTY STOMACH -BRAHMI GHRITA= 1/2 tsp with warm water =improves cognitive calmness, reduces anxiety AFTER BREAKFAST -SARASWATARISHTA= 15ml + equal water =for anxiety + irritability + mental fatigue AFTERNOON -ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk after meals =adaptogen, reduces cortisol, supports hearing NIGHT -MANASMITRA VATAKAM= 1 tab at bedtime =very effective , natural calming herb, reduces irritability EXTERNAL THERAPIES 1) DAILY OIL MASSAGE -use warm sesame oil -especially head + soles. before bath 2) NASYA= instill 2 drops of Brahmi oil in each nostril daily morning These stabilize vata deeply 3) HEAD OIL MASSAGE -with brahmi oil daily at night =reduces irritability, relaxes mind, promote deep sleep DIET- VERY IMPORTANT -warm, cooked meals -ghee 1-2 tsp daily -almonds soaked and peeled -cows milk with nutmeg at night -moong dal -rice , wheat AVOID -coffee major trigger even if unnoticed -dry snacks -excess raw salads -fermented foods -very spicy food -late night eating LIFESTYLE PROTOCOL ESSENTIAL You already have a healthy lifestyle- excellnt ADD -sleep before 10:30 pm -10 min daily alternate nostril breathing anulom vilom -5 min bhramari pranayam very effective -no screen 1 hour before bed Morning sunlight exposure is important EXPECTED TIMELINE -3-4 WEEKS-> improved sleep, slight calmness -8-12 WEEKS-> stable mood improvement -4-6 MONTHS-> suitable time to consider tapering Complete replacement may take 6-12 months Many long term anxiety patient can reduce or discontinue medication with -proper tapering -rejuvenation therapy -nervous system strengthening -strict routine But some may require very low dose maintenance. That is not failure DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Namaste, You have been taking Nexito Plus for 15 years for anxiety and irritation. Since your anxiety is moderate and affecting daily life, it is important to proceed carefully. First, do not stop your current medicine suddenly. Long-term anxiety medicines should always be tapered slowly under medical supervision. Sudden stopping can increase anxiety, sleep disturbance, and restlessness. Ayurveda can support anxiety management gradually, but it is usually done as a supportive transition, not an immediate replacement. For long-term calming support, the following are commonly used under guidance: Brahmi for mental calmness and focus Ashwagandha for stress adaptation and nervous system strength Jatamansi for sleep and irritability Regular abhyanga (oil massage) with warm sesame oil Daily pranayama and meditation Since you already follow a healthy lifestyle, that is a strong advantage. Before planning any replacement, it is better to assess: Your current dose stability Sleep quality Thyroid, vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels Any past attempts to reduce medicine A gradual integrative plan can be made where Ayurvedic medicines are started, and once stability is maintained, the allopathic medicine may be tapered slowly with supervision. There is no need to rush. The goal is stable mental health, not quick withdrawal. With proper monitoring and a structured plan, many people are able to reduce dependency gradually and safely.
