Lorazepam + Quetiapine 100 mg जैसी दवाएँ लंबे समय तक लेने पर बुज़ुर्गों में confusion बढ़ा सकती हैं memory और खराब कर सकती हैं उल्टा agitation/भ्रम भी बढ़ सकता है नींद पर भी असर कम हो जाता है (tolerance बन जाता है) –यह स्थिति शरीर में विशेषकर ‘वात दोष’ के असंतुलन और उम्र बढ़ने के कारण मस्तिष्क की कमजोरी (धातु क्षय) से जुड़ी हो सकती है। इसलिए नींद कम आना, भूलना और भ्रम जैसी समस्या हो रही है। –Diagnosis (Nidana): Vata Vriddhi with Smriti Bhramsha / Nidranasha —Rx: 1) Tab Mentate – 1 tab BD after food 2) Saraswatarisht – 20 ml with equal water, BD after meals 3) Ashwagandhadi Lehyam – 1 tsp at bedtime with warm milk -Medhya Rasayana advised —Panchakarma Abhyanga (oil massage) with Ksheerabala taila Shirodhara (Ksheerabala / Brahmi taila) Nasya therapy ------ all for 7 days —Pathya (Advice): Regular sleep routine, calm environment Warm, light, easily digestible diet Avoid stress, excessive stimulation
