I am really trying to understand more about what pregnancy ke lakshan really are, you know? So, I’ve been feeling kinda weird lately, like, my emotions are all over the place. One minute I’m super excited about life, and the next I could just burst into tears for no reason! It’s really confusing, to be honest. Also, I have this sudden thing for foods that I never liked before — like pickles and peanut butter? What’s that all about? Ugh, and the tiredness! I feel like I could sleep for three days straight, and even then, it wouldn’t be enough. So, here’s the thing: I missed my period this month, which is really odd for me. Before this, I used to have a pretty regular cycle, so now I’m freaking out a bit. My sister told me that these changes could be part of the pregnancy ke lakshan, but I’m not really sure what to think. I've taken a couple of tests, but, um, I think they were kinda inconclusive? One was super faint, and I don’t even know if I should trust that. I’ve heard other women saying that morning sickness is a typical symptom, and omg it’s been like I have this unsettled feeling in my stomach. Like yesterday, I almost threw up while waiting for my coffee to brew. Coffee! Can you believe that? I used to love it, and now I’m like super turned off. What are the common pregnancy ke lakshan that I should really be looking out for here? My head’s just spinning with all the thoughts! I mean, is it really possible that all these things are connected? I could really use some clarity here, so any advice or info about pregnancy ke lakshan would be a huge help! Thanks, everyone! Really appreciate it! P.S. This whole thing is making me feel slightly overwhelmed and I'm just trying to navigate through it all. Missing your period and having these new emotions and cravings, can definitely point towards pregnancy. It sounds like your body’s trying to tell you something. In Ayurveda, we look at pregnancy symptoms or “ke lakshan” as reflections of deeper changes in the body. These include physical and emotional signs.

The things you’re experiencing—like moodiness and the food preferences—yep, they align with what many pregnant women report. Pickles and peanut butter, who’d think, right? Hormones play a huge role here, and it’s all about those ragin’ hormones ramping up and causing all this craziness. Missing your period’s a big one for sure, and you’re not imagining the connection between these symptoms. Odd cravings, being dog-tired, morning sickness… they’re well-known early signs.

As you’ve got a faint reading on a test, maybe try another with the first morning pee (it’s got more hCG), and make sure to follow it step-by-step cause they can be tricky. It’s always a good idea to check a couple of times if the first was inconclusive.

Now, with Ayurveda, we also consider the balance of doshas, which can be a bit off during pregnancy, leading to these conditions. Vata might surge, bringing on the mood swings and fatigue.
