Dr. Manjusha Vikrant Pate
With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

Understanding your struggle with IBS and anxiety over the years requires an integrative approach combining Ayurveda insights with your current treatments. IBS, or Irritable Bowel Syndrome, often ties closely to the imbalance of Vata dosha, affecting digestion and causing stress on your mind-body equilibrium. Anxiety, similarly, may increase Vata imbalance as well. Luckily, Ayurveda offers some solutions to help manage and hopefully reduce symptoms. First, your diet plays crucial role. Favorably, consume warm, cooked meals, seasoned with digestive spices like cumin, coriander, and asofoetida. Avoid cold, raw, spicy foods, as well as heavy meals that strain your digestion. Sip on ginger tea, it can soothe the stomach and ease anxiety. Maintaining regular meal times is equally important. Consider incorporating lifestyle changes too. Practicing yoga and meditation regularly can help calm the mind and balance Vata. Simple poses like bitilasana (cow pose) and marjaryasana (cat pose) can relieve stress and improve digestion. Deep breathing exercises, focusing on lengthening the exhale, naturally lowers anxiety. In case of herbal remedies, try taking triphala churna before bed with warm water to support regular bowel movements and remove toxins. Ashwagandha can be used to reduce stress and enhance your mental clarity, usually 1 teaspoon mixed with milk or warm water, ideally taken in the morning or afternoon. However, ensure to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any new herbal regimen as it should suit your individual prakriti. As you're on psychiatrist medication, never discontinue it without medical advice. It's important to work collaboratively with doctors you trust who may guide you in aligning Ayurvedic practices with existing treatments. Maintaining open dialogues with both modern healthcare providers and Ayurvedic practitioners may provide a more holistic way to manage your conditions effectively.
