Dr. Manjusha Vikrant Pate
With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

When dealing with hair loss and skin issues like pigmentation, oily skin, and puffy eyes, it's essential to understand your dosha imbalances according to Ayurveda. These concerns can be linked to aggravated Pitt (fire and water elements) and Vata (space and air elements) doshas, affecting your body's balance. For hair loss, consider focusing on your diet and lifestyle. Include foods that balance Pitta like cool, bitter, and sweet flavors. Incorporate more cucumbers, leafy greens, and melons. Avoid spicy, acidic foods, which may aggravate Pitta. Regularly massaging your scalp with brahmi or bhringraj oil can improve circulation, nourish the scalp, and potentially promote hair growth. Apply warm oil once or twice a week, let it sit for about an hour, and then wash it off with a mild herbal shampoo. For your skin, focus on detoxification to manage pigmentation and puffy eyes. Start your day with a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of lemon juice—it helps cleanse the system. Trifala powder is another helpful remedy, as it aids in detoxification and improves digestion, impacting skin health positively. Take half a teaspoon with warm water at night before going to bed. Regarding the oiliness, try applying a paste of sandalwood powder and rose water on your face for 15 minutes daily, which helps balance excess oil and soothes the skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Ensure you get adequate rest, ideally seven to eight hours of sleep. Stress can worsen both hair and skin problems, so incorporating yoga or meditation into your routine might be beneficial. Even 15 minutes of mindful breathing or gentle yoga can calm the mind and improve your body's balance. If you don't see improvements, or if your conditons worsen, visiting a healthcare professional is advisable. They'll offer a more in-depth diagnosis and suitable treatments for your specific needs.
