how to increase time of sperm release - #23445

Harper

I am really perplexed about something and hope someone here can help. So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to increase time of sperm release because my partner and I are looking to conceive, but things haven't been going as smoothly as I'd hoped. I mean, we're both healthy, and I’ve been taking vitamins and all that, but I feel like I just don’t last long enough. I recently noticed that my performance seems to be over pretty quick, like way before I even want it to end — it’s kinda embarrassing, honestly. I’m in my late 30s, and though I thought I was in good shape, I often feel this pressure and I think it might be messing with me mentally. My friends say to relax and maybe meditate, but I’m like, really? Can stress and anxiety actually affect how to increase time of sperm release? Or is there something else I could do, maybe natural ways or herbs, like in Ayurveda? Because I really wanna make sure everything’s working right. Any tips or personal experiences would be super appreciated!

Stress and anxiety indeed play a significant role in how one’s body behaves, especially when it comes to sexual performance matters. From an Ayurvedic perspective, it’s considered that mental health and physical health are interconnected, which means that your mental stress levels can impact the time of sperm release (or premature ejaculation as it’s often referred to). In Ayurveda, this is related to an imbalance in the Vata dosha, which governs movement and impulses in the body.

Here are some natural Ayurvedic recommendations you might consider to help manage this:

1. Ashwagandha: Known as Indian Ginseng, Ashwagandha is a powerful herb with known benefits for reducing stress and anxiety, which could help with improving stamina. You can take ashwagandha in powder form or as capsules daily, typically 1-2 teaspoons with warm milk in the evening.

2. Aphrodisiac herbs: Shatavari and Safed Musli are other herbs in Ayurveda known for enhancing vitality and vigor, which might prolong performance. Simply mix a teaspoonful in warm milk and consume it once or twice daily. Consistency matters, so it may take several weeks to notice significant improvement.

3. Dietary considerations: Incorporate foods that support Vata pacification, like warm and oily foods. Eat cooked vegetables, whole grains like rice and quinoa, nuts, and seeds. Avoid cold foods and those that are difficult to digest.

4. Meditation and Yoga: The advice you got about relaxation and meditation is valid, yes. Techniques like pranayama and meditation can lower stress levels and improve control over the mind. Practicing these for even as little as 10-15 minutes a day can lead to improvements. Focus on deep, controlled breathing.

5. Massage therapy (Abhyanga): Performing a self-massage with warm sesame oil before a bath can be grounding and soothing to Vata dosha, enhancing your overall stamina and relaxation.

6. Kegel exercises: These strengthen the pelvic floor muscles and can help in gaining better control over ejaculation.

Before starting any herbal supplements, it’s wise to consult with a practitioner who is familiar with both your personal health status and the particulars of Ayurvedic medicine. Incorporating these practices over time can help naturally balance your energies and might lead to desired improvements.
