I am really struggling with my hair lately! It's been super dry and frizzy, and I feel like no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it right. I tried a few different shampoos and conditioners, but I need to know how to take care of hair daily at home without breaking the bank. You know? Like, I don't want to spend hours styling it every day, but I also don't wanna walk around looking like a scarecrow. My friend suggested some oils and maybe a homemade hair mask or something, but I'm kinda clueless on where to start. Is there a good daily routine or like, specific products that are super effective for daily care at home? I read about using coconut oil, but I’m not sure how often to do that—like should I leave it in overnight or just a few hours? Just feeling really lost here, any tips on how to take care of hair daily at home would be great! Thanks in advance!

Dealing with dry and frizzy hair can be quite a hassle, but Ayurveda offers some cost-effective remedies you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. The first thing to consider is your diet and hydration—it plays a crucial role in the health of your hair. Ensure you’re drinking enough water and consuming a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Good fats, like those found in nuts and seeds, bolster hair health too.

Now, let’s talk about a daily routine. Washing your hair every day can strip it of natural oils, so try to limit shampooing to just 2-3 times a week. When you do wash, look for a shampoo and conditioner that are sulfate and paraben-free to avoid further drying out your hair.

Coconut oil is an excellent option for moisturizing and nourishing your hair. Apply a small amount to the scalp and hair, massaging it in gently. Doing this 1-2 time a week and letting it sit for a few hours or even overnight if your schedule allows can make a big differennce. If you’re concerned about greasiness, use a mild herbal shampoo to remove any excess oil.

A DIY hair mask made from ingredients like banana, honey, and yogurt can also be very beneficial for hydrating your hair. Blend one ripe banana with two tablespoons of honey and one-fourth cup of yogurt. Apply this mask to damp hair and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it out thoroughly.

Consider switching to silk pillowcases, as this may reduce friction and minimize breakage while you sleep. Scalp massages with oils like bhringraj or amla can also stimulate blood flow, enhancing hair growth and strength.

Adjust your routine according to how your hair responds—there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Sometimes it takes a bit of experimenting to find what works best for your hair type and lifestyle.
