How to increase amniotic fluid in pregnancy - #3333
I’m 28 weeks pregnant, and during my last scan, my doctor said my amniotic fluid levels are slightly lower than normal. They didn’t say it’s dangerous yet, but I want to understand how to increase amniotic fluid in pregnancy naturally. Is there anything specific in Ayurveda that could help? I’ve read that staying hydrated is key, so I’ve been drinking more water, but it doesn’t seem to make a big difference. Are there certain herbal teas or Ayurvedic drinks that are recommended? I’ve also heard about coconut water and fruit juices—do these really help increase amniotic fluid? Another thing I’m curious about is diet. Are there foods in Ayurveda that are known to support amniotic fluid production? My diet is vegetarian, and I’m trying to include more soups and liquid-rich foods, but I’d like to know if there’s a specific combination or spice that could help. Finally, I read somewhere that certain oils or massages can be helpful during pregnancy. Is that true? Could they somehow help balance the body to naturally improve amniotic fluid levels? If anyone has used Ayurvedic methods to increase amniotic fluid in pregnancy, I’d love to hear what worked for you.
