Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior - #34002

Andrew

I am really struggling with my eye health lately and feeling a bit hopeless. A couple of months ago, I started noticing my vision getting blurry, especially when I try to read or look at my phone for prolonged periods. My grandmom always said that Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior could help with eye problems, and I thought maybe it’s time to look into that option? I live a pretty busy life, ya know, with work and kids, but my eyes have been feeling strained and tired, like they are constantly in a fog. On top of that, I’ve had some headaches and watery eyes that are driving me nuts. I’ve tried some over-the-counter eye drops, but they don’t seem to work for me. I read somewhere that Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior offers some sort of Ayurvedic treatments. Is anyone here familiar with it? Is it worth trying? What kind of treatments do they provide? I just wanna know if Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior can actually help with my symptoms. Have any of you had positive experiences? I dunno if I should make an appointment or what… I feel kind of lost and just want my vision back to normal without taking heaps of medication. Would appreciate any advice, thanks!

Doctors' responses

Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior is well-known for its Ayurvedic treatments focused on eye health. Addressing your concerns about blurry vision, eye strain, and headaches can be approached with Ayurveda’s holistic lens, aiming to rectify underlying imbalances rather than just treat symptoms superficially.

Ayurveda primarily believes that imbalances in the doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha - contribute to various health issues. Eye strain and related symptoms such as headache and watery eyes may point to a Pitta imbalance, commonly associated with overheating and inflammation. Treatments available at Sreedhareeyam may include therapies specifically tailored to pacify pitta and restore ocular health.

Tarpana, or Netratarpana, is a specific treatment often used for eye conditions; it involves retaining medicated ghee around the eyes. This therapy not only nourishes the eye tissues but also works to calm and cool the pitta dosha. Additionally, Shirodhara, a process where medicated oil is poured on the forehead could be beneficial, as it helps relieve stress and promotes overall relaxation, potentially alleviating headaches linked to stress or eye strain.

Alongside these therapies, incorporating certain lifestyle adjustments and dietary changes can further support eye health. Consider incorporating ghee into your diet, as it is known to strengthen eye tissues. Practicing gentle eye exercises such as palming, where you cover closed eyes with your palms and relax, helps mitgate digital eye strain.

You should make time for breaks during screen time, ensuring you follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. Hydration is vital, so drink enough water to prevent systemic dryness which can exacerbate your symptoms.

While these treatments are generally safe, a personal consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner would ensure that your treatment plan is tailored to your unique doshic constitution and health condition. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to seek urgent medical attention as well-balanced approach between allopathic and ayurvedic can provide comprehensive care.

Analyzing your routine and if persistent symptoms make an appointment at Sreedhareeyam could be a practical step towards addressing your eye health holistically.

Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior is an ayurvedic solution specifically designed for eye health and could be worth a try, considering your symptoms like blurry vision, eye strain, headaches, and watery eyes. Your symptoms suggest an imbalance, possibly involving pitta dosha which often manifests through eye discomfort and visual disturbances. Applying Sreedhareeyam Sunetra Senior, known for its cooling and soothing properties, might help bring balance back and relieve the strain.

Usage is relatively simple for a busy lifestyle: typically, a drop in each eye once or twice a day is recommended. It’s vital to ensure your hands are clean before application to maintain hygiene. You might experience a mild burning sensation initially—this is usual and should decrease with time.

To complement this, focus on reducing eye strain by taking regular breaks from screens hourly, using protective eyewear to block blue light, and ensuring adequate screen brightness. Equally important is dietary consideration—consume foods rich in Vitamin A like carrots, spinach, or sweet potatoes which support eye health. And, ensuring proper hydration is pivotal for keeping your eyes moist.

However, if these remedies do not improve your symptoms, or if they worsen, seeking medical evaluation is crucial to rule out any underlying conditions that might require conventional treatment. Immediate medical consultation is particularly important if you experience sudden vision changes or severe pain. A balanced approach considering both ayurvedic and allopathic methodologies could yield the optimal result for your individual needs.
