A low AMH level such as 0.01 is a significant indication of very low ovarian reserve, which can undeniably make conception challenging. In Ayurveda, enhancing reproductive health involves balancing the doshas, particularly Vata dosha, which is often linked with reproductive issues. Although Ayurveda may offer some supportive approaches, it’s important to understand that with such low AMH levels, conventional medical interventions like IVF might still be necessary due to their more direct effect. However, Ayurveda can work alongside to enhance overall reproductive health.

Begin by focusing on diet and lifestyle changes. Include foods that nourish Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue), like milk, ghee, nuts especially almonds and walnuts, and seeds like sesame. Daily warm milk with a pinch of saffron may help in enhancing fertility. Try incorporating Ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Guduchi, known for their benefits in supporting reproductive health. Shatavari, in particular, is known to improve hormonal balance and egg quality. It’s wise to take these herbs under guidance of a skilled Ayurvedic practioner for appropriate dosaging.

A daily self-abhyanga—oil massage—using warm sesame oil can pacify Vata dosha, supporting regular cycles. Practicing yoga asanas like Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Bound Angle Pose) and Bharadvajasana (Bharadvaja’s Twist) can aid in enhancing blood circulation to the reproductive organs, reducing stress, and balancing hormones.

Adequate rest and stress management are crucial. Consider daily routine adjustments for better balance, ensuring early bedtimes and appropriate sleep. Deep breathing or pranayama exercises can assist with stress management, which also supports reproductive health.

With an AMH level that low, collaboration with a fertility specialist alongside these measures is wise to explore all possible avenues for conception. Always considering a medical professional’s input for best path forward remains a priority.

Achieving conception with an AMH level of 0.01 is challenging as it indicates diminished ovarian reserve, but certain Siddha and Ayurvedic approaches might improve the overall reproductive health. The first step is working on balancing doshas and improving vitality through lifestyle and dietary adjustments.

Consider incorporating foods that support reproductive health, emphasizing sattvic foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and milk. Aim to avoid excessively spicy, fried, and processed foods which could aggravate doshas. Within the Siddha system, focus on enhancing Agni without disturbing the balance of Vata, which is often linked to hormonal regularity and menstrual health.

Yoga and meditation can also aid in reducing stress which is crucial for hormonal balance. Asana practices such as Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose) are particularly beneficial for enhancing reproductive energy.

Herbal formulations might be useful too. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) supports the endocrine system and stress relief, while Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is specifically known for enhancing female reproductive health. These may be considered but are best used under the guidance of a skilled practitioner.

Scheduling a consultation with an experienced Siddha or Ayurvedic physician in person can provide a more tailored regimen and ensure compatibility with your wife’s unique prakriti and current health condition.

It’s essential to understand the limits of any traditional approach, and that biomedical evaluation remains vital. If you haven’t already, consulting with a fertility specialist for potential assisted reproductive technologies (ART) might be beneficial, especially given the low AMH. Combining insights from both conventional and Siddha-Ayurvedic medicine can offer a well-rounded perspective on fertility challenges.
