Hello Vikas, You have not given enough information for us to give a proper guideline. You have mentioned diabetes, but how much is your fasting blood sugar level & Hba1c? Also, the fungal infection is in which part of the body? How is your overall digestion and metabolism? Do you feel constipated bloated or have diarrhoea in the meanwhile, please try working on your diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle. What medication are you on for diabetes? Please try eating a plant based diet restrict non-veg dairy, fermented , fried processed food, bakery items like bread and maida products. Try to eat only two times in the day, which can improve your digestion to a great extent. Have boiled vegetables in between whenever you feel hungry in very small amounts. Completely stop, external sugar. Reduce your content of rice. Eat more of Jowar, Barley, Wheat etc. Walk at least for one hour every day, briskly. Practice Pranayam. Have bath with Neem powder added to the bathing water. Apply GANDHAK MALAHAR to the fungal infection site.

At 32 years old, managing diabetes along with a long-term skin fungal infection can be challenging, but Ayurvedic treatment can offer a holistic approach to improve your overall health and address both conditions. Diabetes can lead to changes in skin health, making you more susceptible to infections, including fungal ones.

In Ayurveda, it’s important to focus on balancing the Kapha dosha, which is often linked to excess moisture and can contribute to fungal growth. Additionally, stabilizing blood sugar levels is crucial for improving your skin condition and overall well-being.

To provide you with more targeted recommendations, I would like to know more about your current lifestyle and diet. Specifically, please share details about your daily eating habits, any medications you are currently taking for diabetes, and any previous treatments you’ve tried for your fungal infection. It would also be helpful to know if you have experienced any particular symptoms related to your skin condition, such as itching or redness, and if there are specific areas affected. With this information, I can suggest suitable Ayurvedic herbs, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes to help manage your diabetes and alleviate your skin fungal infection effectively.

Alright, dealing with diabetes and fungal infections together can be a bit tough but there’s a way around it. Since diabetes often complicates skin issues like fungal infections, managing both is essential. Now, let’s dive into some steps from the Ayurvedic standpoint, keeping it practical and realistic.

First things first, we gotta address the diabetes. Ayurveda looks at diabetes as a Kapha imbalance, with dietary changes being pivotal. Aim to include more bitter and astringent foods which can pacify Kapha. So, think about adding more greens like spinach and fenugreek leaves. Keep a check on your sugar levels, and be aware of hidden sugars.

When it comes to the fungal infection, turmeric is your buddy. It’s a natural antifungal. A simple paste made of turmeric and water applied on the affected area can work wonders, do it twice a day. Turmeric milk (golden milk) is also great but make sure it’s warmed, and sip on it at bedtime.

Maintaining good hygiene is critical. Keep the infected area dry and clean. Avoid tight or synthetic clothing that may irritate the skin. Changing clothing and towel regularly’s a must – helps in preventing infection from spreading.

Triphala—an Ayurvedic wonder—helps detox the body and can support the digestive system, which is pivotal for efficient management. Take it at night – half to one teaspoon with warm water.

Ashwagandha and Guduchi are beneficial herbs for diabetes control. They help balance your doshas and could even strengthen immunity, potentially lessening fungal attacks. But, remember to consult with an Ayurvedic expert before starting these as they’ll tailor the exact routine, doses etc. to your current condition.

Stay hydrated, yet avoid excess water intake particularly late at night. Check your weight – ideally keep it into check as excess can trigger more Kapha imbalances.

And remember, while Ayurveda works profoundly, it ain’t a magic trick – patience and consistency are key. If the skin infection is severe, it’s best to not skip seeing a regular doctor too. Safety first, always!
