It seems you might be experiencing some form of mental and emotional imbalance that Ayurveda attributes to aggravated Vata dosha. Vata governs the mind and nervous system, thus any imbalance can lead to anxiety, fear, restlessness, and unusual thought patterns. While vitamin B12 deficiency can sometimes mimic these symptoms, addressing Vata through Ayurvedic means may offer some relief.

To help balance Vata, start with your diet. A warm, nourishing, and easily digestible diet can stabilize Vata, so include foods like warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg at night, freshly cooked grains like rice or oats, and ghee-cooked vegetables. Avoid cold, raw, and dry foods as they can aggrevate Vata.

Regular routines are essential. Establish a consistent daily schedule to anchor your mind. Wake up and go to bed at the same time each day. Begin practicing Abhyanga, self-massage with warm sesame oil, before bathing to calm the nervous system.

Incorporate stress-reliving techniques into your day. Try 10-15 minutes of Pranayama, such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), which balances the mind’s subtle energies. Also, meditation is key. Dedicate at least five minutes for stillness, allowing your mind to settle.

The herbs Ashwagandha and Brahmi are excellent for mental balance. Consider taking 1/4 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder with warm milk twice a day, and Brahmi tea can be calming as well.

Ensure you consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen. While Ayurveda offers supportive measures, it’s essential to monitor your condition and seek further testing or consultation as needed.
