how to increase semen volume - #44714

Andrew

I am really figuring out this issue about how to increase semen volume, not sure where to start. I’m in my early 30s and, honestly, I’ve noticed that things haven't been the same lately. Like, during intimate moments, it feels like everything has kinda decreased – not just in terms of pleasure, but really the volume just seems less. This has been on my mind a lot. I tried some OTC supplements but haven’t seen much difference. Last month, I even did some blood work, and the doc said everything looks fine hormone-wise, which is confusing. I’ve been reading online, and every source talks about diet changes, herbal remedies, and all that… But, like, how exactly does that work? I heard cinnamon and ashwagandha might help, but does anyone know how to increase semen volume like effectively? I’m also wondering if stress might be playing a role since work’s been crazy stressful lately. Anyway, just feel a bit lost and would love some practical tips from you all on how to increase semen volume naturally without having to rely just on supplements. Thanks!

Exploring the area of increasing semen volume through Ayurveda involves a dynamic approach that considers diet, lifestyle, and stress management. Let’s break this down. From an Ayurvedic perspective, semen is a form of ‘shukra dhatu’, the essence tissue formed as a result of strong digestive fire, or ‘agni’, that digests food into the various dhatus, or tissues, over time. A good place to start, is enhancing your overall quality of diet to ensure your body is nourished and can optimally form shukra.

Incorporating shatavari and ashwagandha can be beneficial; these adaptogens boost the production of shukra and balance vata dosha. Ashwagandha can be taken as a powder with warm milk, preferably before bed. An appropriate dosage would be around 1 teaspoon with cow’s milk seems to be ideal to nourish reproductive tissue. Shatavari’s cooling nature supports pitta imbalances, and can be taken similarly, in the morning with ghee or warm water.

Stress affects the entire body’s function including semen production. Practices like ‘Pranayama’ breathing techniques and yoga postures such as ‘Padmasana’ or ‘Vajrasana’ encourage blood circulation and calm the mind. Keeping your mind and body relaxed helps sustain balanced hormones and encourages proper function of bodily systems.

When it comes to diet - include foods high in zinc like pumpkin seeds, almonds, and ghee. Warm, well spiced foods that are easy to digest support ‘agni’, so think soups, stews, and warm herbal teas. Decrease or avoid processed foods, excessive caffeine, and alcohol, which can dampen the digestive fire.

Ensure proper hydration and get enough sleep. Both affect the body’s ability to produce vital fluids, including semen. A daily routine, or ‘dinacharya’, supports balance. Simple act of waking and sleeping with the sun can make a profound difference.

While addressing your concerns, do remember that if issues persist, consider a consultation with an ayurvedic practitioner who can provide a more personalized approach.
