Dealing with S.L.E. along with a fungal infection poses unique challenges. Start by focusing on dietary changes which bolster your immunity. Include foods rich in antioxidants like turmeric milk, sipped before bed, which could help detoxify and alleviate symptoms of inflammation and itching. Try adding a pinch of black pepper for increased absorption of curcumin, turmeric’s active compound.

Ensure you maintain good skin hygiene. Bathe twice daily with neem leaves boiled in water. Neem has remarkable antifungal properties and can offer relief from persistent itching. You might also consider applying a paste made of sandalwood powder and rose water after bath. This can help to soothe the skin and reduce irritation. Apply the paste on affected areas and leave it until it dries naturally before washing off with lukewarm water. It’s gentle and won’t interfere with your ongoing treatments.

Another step is to keep your skin moisturized but make sure to use hypoallergenic oils like coconut oil or sesame oil, which have antifungal properties. Coat the affected areas lightly after bath. Sleep hygiene is also crucial especially since you experience increased itching at night; use bed linens washed in mild, fragrance-free detergents to minimize irritation.

Remember, these home remedies should be adjuncts to your existing treatments, not replacements. Monitor your symptoms and if persisting consult with your healthcare provider for a tailored medical approach. Given your condition’s complexity—considering your autoimmune status—continue open dialogue with your specialist to ensure no interactions between home and allopathic treatments.

It appears that despite treatment for your fungal infection, symptoms persist. Considering your S.L.E. condition and ongoing medication, any addition to your regimen should be approached cautiously. Addressing the root cause and soothing your symptoms through a Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective might offer some relief, but consulting with your healthcare provider before starting new remedies is crucial.

For the fungal infection and itching, try applying a paste made from turmeric and neem leaves. Both have antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Blend fresh neem leaves with a pinch of turmeric and apply the paste to affected areas. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water. Do this daily for possible relief.

Additionally, increasing garlic in your diet could be beneficial because of its natural antifungal abilities. Consuming a clove of raw garlic daily, finely chopped and mixed into food, can support your immune response. Ensure it does not interfere with your medications or digestive comfort.

Itching often worsens at night due to increased vata dosha activity. Creating habit of warm oil massage with sesame oil before bathing can help balance vata and soothe skin. Keep skin moisturized with coconut oil after showering to maintain hydration and protect against further irritation.

Remember, it’s essential to continue your prescribed treatments and check in with your healthcare provider to confirm compatibility of these suggestions with your current medical condition and treatments.
