Addressing these concerns involves making lifestyle changes that align with Ayurvedic principles, focusing on diet, exercise, and daily routine. When diastolic pressure is elevated, such as 93, it suggests we focus on managing stress and heat in the body.

First, a dietary approach: Consider embracing a Pitta-pacifying diet. This includes more cooling foods like cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce, and coconut water. Avoid spicy foods, excessive salt, and fried foods which can aggravate Pitta and increase pressure. Grapes, watermelons, and berries can be your daily snacks, as they help in balancing Pitta. As for grains, barley and oats are good choices.

Next, an exercise routine needs attention. While exercise is crucial, intense workouts may not be suitable if Pitta is high. Concentrate on cooling activities like yoga and walking. Practice yoga poses that promote relaxation, such as Forward Bends or the Reclining Bound Angle Pose. Spending 30 minutes daily on pranayama, especially Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), can be beneficial in reducing stress and balancing doshas.

In your daily regimen, consider incorporating meditation or mindfulness practices to manage stress, which can affect blood pressure. Even a simple morning routine of sitting in silence for 10-15 minutes can be effective.

For headaches specifically, applying a Brahmi oil on the scalp, particularly focusing on the crown of the head, can provide relief. Ashwagandha, taken as a powder mixed with milk or warm water daily, can support overall stress reduction and improve blood circulation.

Finally, regular monitoring of blood pressure and consultations with traditional healthcare practitioners are key if symptoms persist. Ayurveda can play a supportive role in health management, but it’s vital to stay informed about your condition’s status with modern medical assessments.
