Doctors' responses

Yes, Livital is generally safe to take with Metformin and Lisinopril. It is a liver supportive herbal tonic with no known major interactions with these two drugs. Many diabetic & hypertensive patients use it safely. Monitor blood sugar & BP closely for first 2 weeks (just to be safe). Take 1–2 tsp (5–10 ml) twice daily after meals with water (avoids any minor stomach upset).

Take for Minimum 2–3 months for noticeable liver support & better digestion/energy. Can continue long-term (6–12 months or more) if tolerated well.

Take after food to minimize any acidity risk. Continue your Metformin & Lisinopril exactly as prescribed , do not stop or change them. Repeat liver function test (LFT) after 3 months.

Hlo,

- Yes, you can take Livital with metformin (diabetes) and lisinopril (BP). - No significant interactions are known between Livital and these medicines. - Livital is a multivitamin, so it does not affect blood sugar or blood pressure when taken as directed.

How to take it: Take 1 tablet once daily after food Usually 1–3 months.

It can be continued longer only if your doctor advises, based on your needs.

Important - Avoid taking extra potassium supplements unless prescribed, as lisinopril can increase potassium levels. If you notice unusual symptoms (nausea, weakness, allergy), stop and inform your doctor.

Hello I get why you’re wondering about taking Livital with your diabetes and BP meds (Metformin and Lisinopril). Mixing natural and regular medicines can be tricky, mainly if you’re on meds for a while.

So, is Livital okay to take with your other medicines?

Yes it’s usually fine to take Livital with: * Metformin (for diabetes) * Lisinopril (for blood pressure)

Livital’s a natural liver tonic that mostly helps with: * Getting your liver in better shape * Helping you digest food and get energy from it * Making you less tired

It doesn’t mess directly with your blood sugar or blood pressure medicines.

How Livital Works (The Natural Way)

Livital is good for: * Boosting digestion * Giving your liver some love * Helping your energy levels

A good liver can really help keep things in check, like: * How your body handles sugar * How your body handles fat * How well you absorb medicines

How to Take Livital

* Dosage: * 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 ml) * Twice a day * After you eat, mixed with water

How Long Should You Take It?

It’s ok to take Livital for: * 6–8 weeks

It’s not something you should take every day for the rest of your life.

Risks with Diabetes or BP? Not many, but: * Keep an eye on your blood sugar * If it dips too low, cut back to once a day

Livital might give your metabolism a little boost, so your sugar might drop a bit (which can be a good thing).

Who Should Skip Livital? Be careful or don’t use it if: * Your BP is already super low * You’re on a lot of different medicines * You have liver problems

To Wrap It Up It’s usually okay to take Livital with Metformin and Lisinopril.

It should help with: * Feeling tired * Feeling weak * Digestion * Getting your body working better

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

YES YOU CAN TAKE LIVITAL ALONG WITH YOUR DIABETES AND BP MEDICINES LIKE METFORMIN AND LISINOPRIL AND IN GENERAL IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY DIRECT HARMFUL DRUG INTERACTION WITH THESE MEDICINES WHEN TAKEN IN PROPER DOSE

FROM A MEDICAL AND AYURVEDIC POINT OF VIEW LIVITAL IS A HERBAL LIVER TONIC THAT SUPPORTS LIVER FUNCTION IMPROVES METABOLISM HELPS IN DETOXIFICATION AND IMPROVES APPETITE AND ENERGY IT DOES NOT CONTAIN SUGAR OR ANY INGREDIENT THAT RAISES BLOOD PRESSURE

METFORMIN ACTS MAINLY ON GLUCOSE METABOLISM AND INSULIN SENSITIVITY WHILE LISINOPRIL ACTS ON BLOOD PRESSURE REGULATION THROUGH THE RENIN ANGIOTENSIN SYSTEM LIVITAL WORKS AT THE LEVEL OF THE LIVER AND DIGESTIVE FIRE SO THEIR MECHANISMS ARE DIFFERENT AND THEY DO NOT CLASH

HOWEVER A FEW PRACTICAL POINTS ARE IMPORTANT KEEP A GAP OF AT LEAST 30 TO 45 MINUTES BETWEEN LIVITAL AND YOUR ALLOPATHIC MEDICINES TAKE LIVITAL AFTER FOOD USUALLY AFTER LUNCH OR DINNER CONTINUE REGULAR MONITORING OF BLOOD SUGAR AND BLOOD PRESSURE AS YOU ARE ALREADY DOING

REGARDING DURATION LIVITAL IS USUALLY TAKEN FOR 6 TO 8 WEEKS FOR LIVER SUPPORT AND METABOLIC BALANCE IF THERE IS FATTY LIVER POOR DIGESTION WEAKNESS OR LONG STANDING METABOLIC STRESS IT CAN BE CONTINUED UP TO 3 MONTHS UNDER MEDICAL GUIDANCE AFTER THAT A BREAK OR REASSESSMENT IS ADVISED

SIGNS THAT IT IS SUITING YOU WELL INCLUDE BETTER DIGESTION IMPROVED ENERGY LESS BLOATING AND NO CHANGE OR IMPROVEMENT IN SUGAR AND BP READINGS

IF AT ANY TIME YOU NOTICE UNUSUAL SYMPTOMS LIKE DIZZINESS VERY LOW SUGARS OR BP DROPPING TOO MUCH THEN DO INFORM YOUR DOCTOR BUT THIS IS UNCOMMON

IN SUMMARY LIVITAL IS SAFE WITH METFORMIN AND LISINOPRIL DOES NOT INTERFERE WHEN TAKEN PROPERLY AND CAN BE USED FOR A LIMITED COURSE TO SUPPORT LIVER AND OVERALL METABOLIC HEALTH

There is no clear evidence that Livital directly interacts with Metformin or Lisinopril, but caution is important. Lisinopril itself can interact with Metformin by increasing the risk of low blood sugar, so any additional supplement should be monitored carefully. Always consult your physician before starting Livital, and if approved, use it for a limited course (usually 1–3 months) with regular monitoring of blood sugar and blood pressure.

⚠️ Risks & Precautions - Potential overlap: If Livital contains herbs like Guduchi, Ashwagandha, or Ginseng, they may lower blood sugar further, compounding Metformin’s effect. - Blood pressure impact: Some herbal ingredients may mildly lower BP, which could add to Lisinopril’s effect. - Kidney safety: Lisinopril affects kidney function; certain supplements may stress kidneys further. - Monitoring: Regular checks of fasting blood sugar, HbA1c, and BP are essential when combining supplements with prescription medicines.

✅ Safe Approach - Step 1: Show Livital’s ingredient list to your doctor/pharmacist. - Step 2: If approved, start with the lowest dose. - Step 3: Monitor blood sugar and BP closely for 1–2 weeks. - Step 4: Continue for 1–3 months if tolerated, then reassess. - Step 5: Stop immediately if you notice hypoglycemia, dizziness, or unusual fatigue.

🥗 Lifestyle Support (Complementary to Medicines) - Balanced vegetarian diet with high fiber, low refined carbs. - Warm water hydration (2–3 liters daily). - Gentle yoga/pranayama for stress and BP control. - Avoid excess salt, fried foods, and alcohol.

Warm Regards DR. ANJALI SEHRAWAT
