Hello I get what you’re going through. Not being able to go in the morning and having to strain is awful, especially when even 4 Dulcolax pills don’t do the trick. Don’t worry, though! We Are here to help you out 😊 It sounds like you’ve got chronic constipation. The main things causing this are: * Too much apana vata (energy flow imbalance) * Sluggish intestines (lazy bowel) * Your body’s natural reflexes getting weak from taking too many laxatives * Gas, dryness, and stress That’s why even strong laxatives aren’t working anymore. AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT 👉Nighttime Remedy (Most Important) * Triphala powder * Amount: 1 teaspoon * How to use Take it before bed With warm water or milk Your body’s natural go reflex should come back in 7–10 days. 👉 If your stool is really hard: * Castor Oil * Amount: 1 teaspoon * Only once or twice a week * With warm milk at night Don’t take it every day. 👉 Morning Habit (Very Important) * Drink 1–2 glasses of warm water as soon as you wake up. * After that, do the Pavanmuktasana / Malasana pose for 5–10 minutes. DIET PLAN ✔ What to eat: * 8–10 soaked raisins * Papaya, pear * Oatmeal, veggies, 1–2 teaspoons of ghee * 2–2.5 liters of water a day ❌ What to cut back on: * Too much tea or coffee * Processed flour, bakery stuff * Very dry and cold foods * Eating late at night Important Advice ❌ Don’t take Dulcolax or strong laxatives every day. ❌ Straining every day can cause piles and fissures. If you’ve been constipated for a long time, sometimes you might need: Colonoscopy / Thyroid / Blood sugar tests. This problem can be totally fixed. But we have to retrain your bowels – not with laxatives, but by balancing your vata energy. Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
