Seeking Guidance for Recurring Acne and Scars - #49108
I am experiencing recurring acne issues. I had acne for the 2–3 years before, mainly on my cheeks, and it left red and brown marks on my skin. Recently I again started getting small pimples (may be starting stage of acen), and each one leaves a red spot that looks like a fresh scar. My skin is oily, has visible pores, and the marks take a long time to fade. For the last few weeks, I have been using haritaki (kadukkai) powder as a face mask 2–3 times a week, but I have not seen any improvement in my acne or the scars. I would like to know how long haritaki usually takes to show results and whether I should continue using it or follow a different Ayurvedic treatment, both internal and external, to reduce acne, control oil, and lighten the scars. I request your guidance in understanding the root cause and the right approach for my skin.
