Clarification You mentioned: Cycles are regular Hot flashes present Using natural remedies If cycles are truly regular, then: 👉 It may not be complete ovarian failure 👉 It could be diminished ovarian reserve 👉 Or intermittent ovarian function In true POF, periods usually stop or become very irregular. So first we must confirm: Are periods monthly? Or coming occasionally? 🧬 Can Ovarian Function Be Restored? Let’s be realistic but hopeful. In Primary Ovarian Insufficiency: ✔ Ovaries reduce function early ✔ Estrogen drops ✔ FSH rises ✔ Egg reserve is very low Complete reversal is rare. BUT… In some women: Ovaries work intermittently Periods can return temporarily Spontaneous ovulation can occur About 5–10% women with POI can conceive naturally. So it is not 100% permanent shutdown in all cases. 🔬 What You Must Check Now Please check recent levels of: FSH LH AMH Estradiol Thyroid (TSH) Prolactin Vitamin D Without these numbers, we cannot judge ovarian activity. 🌿 Ayurvedic View (Vata-Pitta Age 40) In Ayurveda, early ovarian failure is linked to: Vata aggravation Dhatu kshaya (tissue depletion) Ojas depletion Chronic stress Treatment focuses on: Rasayana (rejuvenation) Hormonal support Nervous system balance 🌿 Ayurvedic Support (Adjunct, Not Replacement for HRT) Common supportive herbs: ✔ Shatavari ✔ Ashoka ✔ Ashwagandha ✔ Kumari (Aloe) ✔ Bala But important: If estrogen is very low and hot flashes are strong, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may be medically safer than ignoring it. Early menopause increases risk of: Osteoporosis Heart disease Cognitive decline 🔥 About Your Hot Flashes Hot flashes = low estrogen signal. If cycles are regular but flashes present, You may be in fluctuating ovarian function. 💛 Honest Answer Can ovaries be fully restored at 40 after POF diagnosis? 🔹 Completely restoring egg reserve → unlikely 🔹 Improving hormonal balance → possible 🔹 Getting periods back → possible in some cases 🔹 Natural conception → possible but low probability It depends on: AMH level FSH level Autoimmune cause or not Genetic factors ⚠ Important Question Why were you diagnosed at 37? Periods stopped? High FSH? Low AMH? IVF failure? The cause matters. 🌺 My Recommendation 1️⃣ Recheck hormones 2️⃣ Bone density scan (important) 3️⃣ Vitamin D correction 4️⃣ Discuss HRT with gynecologist 5️⃣ Add Ayurvedic rasayana support 6️⃣ Reduce stress aggressively
