Namaste, If you have been taking Punarnava and Bangshil for almost a month and still have a strong urge to urinate, it means the root cause may not be fully addressed yet. Since you mentioned the urge is severe but there are no other symptoms like burning, fever, or pain, this may not be an active infection. Sometimes persistent urge can be due to bladder irritation, overactive bladder, incomplete bladder emptying, or long-standing inflammation. Chronic UTI should always be confirmed with proper urine routine and urine culture. If this has not been done recently, it is important to repeat the test. Taking medicines without confirming infection may not solve the problem. Also consider these simple measures: Avoid tea, coffee, and very spicy foods for some time. Do not hold urine for long periods. Drink adequate water, but do not overdrink excessively. Avoid very cold drinks. If there is anxiety or stress, that can also increase urinary frequency in some people. Since the urge is severe and continuing despite one month of treatment, it is better to reassess the diagnosis. You may need urine tests, blood sugar testing, and possibly ultrasound if advised by a doctor. Do not panic, but do not ignore persistent severe urge either. A proper consultation will help determine whether this is infection-related, bladder sensitivity, or another cause, and guide you with the right treatment plan.
