Why I'm not gaining weight

Maine bahot try Kiya. Workout bhi kiya. Din me 3-4 bar khana bhi khata hu. But Mera weight na badhta hai or na hi meri physics me koi growth milta hai.

Agar aap 30 saal ke hain aur aapka wajan nahi badh raha hai ya aapki sharirik vikas mein koi sudhar nahi ho raha hai, to is samasya ka samadhan Ayurveda mein mil sakta hai. Aapke liye sabse pehle, apne Aahar (diet) par dhyan dena zaroori hai. Aapko Sattvic aur Vyangyapran Aahar par kendrit hona chahiye, jo ki svasth aur poshak ho. Ismein daalein, nuts, seeds, dairy products (jese dahi aur paneer), aur ghee shamil karein. Yeh aapko healthy calories dene ke saath-saath aapki sharir ki zarooraton ko bhi pura karte hain. Aapko din mein 3-4 baar se adhik khana khana chahiye, lekin chhote aur poshak meals ke roop mein. Mukhya bhojan ke alawa, snacks ke roop mein dry fruits, protein bars, ya smoothies ka istemal karein. Aap Ashwagandha aur Shatavari jaise Ayurvedic herbs ka istemal bhi kar sakte hain, jo aapki metabolism ko sudharne mein madad karte hain aur sharir mein energy aur stamina badhate hain. Saath hi, aapko apne workout routine ko bhi sudharna hoga; strength training aur weight lifting se muscle mass badhane mein madad mil sakti hai. Din bhar ki body activities ko bhi shamil karein, jaise yoga ya surya namaskar, jo sharir ke vikas mein sahayak hota hai. Aakhir mein, apne aahar aur vyayam ke bare mein ek Ayurvedic practitioner se sampark karein, jisse aapko personalized guidance mil sake aur aapki health ko sudharne ke liye upay mil sake.

Cold press oil

Which cold press oil is good for daily routine for diabetes and thyroid patients , please advise for whole year or seasons

For individuals with diabetes and borderline thyroid conditions, incorporating cold-pressed oils into your daily routine can provide numerous health benefits while supporting overall well-being. One of the best choices is groundnut oil (peanut oil), which has a balanced fatty acid profile, low glycemic index, and is rich in antioxidants, making it suitable for managing blood sugar levels. Additionally, sesame oil (til oil) is highly beneficial, as it contains compounds that can help improve thyroid function and provide essential fatty acids that support hormonal balance. Flaxseed oil is another excellent option, particularly for its high omega-3 fatty acid content, which can help reduce inflammation and improve cardiovascular health, a common concern for those with diabetes. Furthermore, mustard oil can be used in moderation, as it has been associated with improved insulin sensitivity and metabolic health. When choosing oils, it’s essential to consider seasonal variations. In warmer months, lighter oils such as sunflower oil or grapeseed oil can be preferable, as they are less heavy on digestion and can help maintain energy levels. In colder months, opting for richer oils like olive oil or coconut oil can provide warmth and nourishment, supporting the thyroid and overall metabolic function. Regardless of the type of oil chosen, moderation is key, and it’s advisable to use them as part of a balanced diet that includes plenty of whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.

Why I am getting joint pains in hands n knees in my 30's, can u please suggest the food to be taken to reduce these pains..

Experiencing joint pain in your 30s can often be attributed to inflammation, repetitive strain, or early signs of conditions like arthritis, which may indicate an imbalance in the Vata dosha according to Ayurveda. To help reduce this pain, focus on incorporating anti-inflammatory foods into your diet. Fatty fish such as salmon and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can combat inflammation. Nuts and seeds like walnuts and flaxseeds also provide healthy fats that support joint health. Incorporate antioxidant-rich fruits such as berries, cherries, and oranges, along with a variety of colorful vegetables like leafy greens, bell peppers, and broccoli. Spices such as turmeric and ginger are particularly beneficial; turmeric contains curcumin, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, choose whole grains like brown rice and quinoa over refined carbohydrates, and use healthy fats like extra virgin olive oil in your cooking. It’s also important to stay hydrated, maintain a healthy weight, and engage in low-impact exercises to strengthen the muscles around your joints. By adopting these dietary and lifestyle changes, you can significantly alleviate joint pain and promote overall joint health.

In my periods my blood flow is very low

My energy is low in the afternoon and periods flow is low I have two girl one is 9 years old and second is 2 and half year old baby girl

Get your iron & hemoglobin checked. At 31, experiencing low energy in the afternoons and lighter menstrual flow may indicate a Vata imbalance or depletion of Rasa Dhatu (the nourishing fluids and energy of the body) in Ayurveda, especially after childbirth. To rejuvenate energy and improve menstrual health, focus on a nourishing, warming diet and specific herbs. Begin your day with a glass of warm water infused with a pinch of turmeric and honey to gently stimulate digestion. Include **Ashwagandha** (2 grams daily) and **Shatavari** (2 grams daily), both well-known for restoring vitality and supporting reproductive health. These herbs help balance hormones, build strength, and are excellent tonics for women post-pregnancy. A warm glass of milk with a pinch of **saffron** and **cardamom** in the evening can support both energy levels and menstrual flow. **Regular oil massage (Abhyanga)** with warm sesame or almond oil on the body and lower abdomen also promotes circulation and helps restore Rasa Dhatu. Incorporating foods rich in iron and B vitamins, like dates, sesame seeds, spinach, and almonds, is beneficial for improving energy and blood health. Avoid overly cold or raw foods, which can aggravate Vata and weaken digestion. If symptoms persist, consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner can help tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs.

34 years old female 164cm/51 kg Taking thyronorm 62.5 regularly. Hormone levels are normal recent check up. Recently started 2200-2500 calory homely meal plan without sugar. Yoga+ moderate strength training at home+ aerobics for 6 days a week. ( 2 -3 days each). Can i gain weight without rising lipid levels? Before 6 months, the lipid levels were ldl 122, hdl 76, triglycerides 70, total cholestrol 212

As an Ayurvedic practitioner, it's great to see your commitment to a healthy lifestyle with a balanced meal plan, regular exercise, and the consistent use of Thyronorm (levothyroxine) for your thyroid management. Given your current regimen of 2200-2500 calories with a focus on whole foods and no added sugar, you are on the right track to potentially gain weight healthily. To gain weight without adversely affecting your lipid levels, it’s important to focus on nutrient-dense foods that provide healthy fats, proteins, and complex carbohydrates. Incorporating sources of healthy fats, such as avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil, can help you increase your calorie intake while also supporting heart health. Additionally, including protein-rich foods like legumes, dairy, and lean meats can promote muscle growth, especially with your moderate strength training routine. Your lipid levels, which were within a reasonable range during your last check-up, can be maintained by continuing to prioritize whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables, along with fiber-rich foods that help regulate cholesterol. Regularly monitoring your lipid levels is advisable as you adjust your caloric intake and exercise routine. Always consult with your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, particularly in relation to your thyroid medication, to ensure that your overall health is supported. With a mindful approach, it is certainly possible to gain weight while keeping your lipid levels in check.

Ajaasvagandhadhi leham

ajaasvagandhadhi leham has cholestrol lowering property? How it helps to gain weight? Can i use it with thyronorm tablet?

Ajaswagandhadi Leham, an Ayurvedic herbal formulation, is traditionally used to strengthen the body, improve vitality, and support muscle mass. It's not primarily known for cholesterol-lowering properties; however, due to its nourishing ingredients like Ashwagandha, it can potentially improve metabolic function and may offer indirect benefits for overall cardiovascular health. In terms of weight gain, Ajaswagandhadi Leham works by enhancing tissue-building processes (anabolism), nourishing all dhatus (body tissues), especially muscle tissue (mamsa dhatu). Ashwagandha is known for supporting strength, energy levels, and immunity, which helps in building lean body mass. For patients with thyroid issues, especially when taking Thyronorm, Ajaswagandhadi Leham can generally be safe but should be taken under guidance. Since thyroid hormones can affect metabolism, it’s essential to observe any changes in energy, appetite, or weight, as these factors may interact with both the leham and Thyronorm. Could you let me know more about your specific goals with Ajaswagandhadi Leham and any cholesterol concerns?

Hello Farjana, Some people who are especially Vata predominant personalities are thin in nature. But you can still gain weight in healthy manner. How is your appetite? Any digestive problems like diarrhoea, IBS or constipation? Any ongoing stress? Were you very sick? Do you suffer from worms regularly? Any relevant blood tests are done? All these parameters are necessary to understand why you aren’t gaining weight. Also what is your diet like & how is your sleep?
