How to clear blocks and dizziness - #13225

We did ECG for my mother its showing variance..She has no symptoms..She is diabetic with 150 and bp is normal…Should we do a CT scan and check for block? She is having dizziness and not having proper sleep

Namaste! Insulin resistance in Ayurveda is linked to Kapha and Meda Dhatu Dushti, leading to impaired metabolism and glucose imbalance. Hey, I’m sorry to hear about your mother’s dizziness. It can be quite worrying especially when there’s variance in the ECG even if she doesn’t have symptoms. Based on her condition, since she is diabetic, even with normal BP, it’s good to be cautious.

First thing’s first, if the ECG shows variances, it’s not something to ignore. The fact there’s no symptoms doesn’t mean everything’s perfect. If she’s got dizziness, definitely get a CT scan done as it can help rule out any serious blockages or cardio-vascular issues. Be quick about it; don’t delay since prompt action can potentially avert larger issues down the line.

About her dizziness and sleep, Ayurveda can’t replace immediate medical interventions but it can complement them. So, after the necessary check-ups, consider looking into her vata balance. Dizziness may relate to vata imbalances and sleep issues. Could start by giving her a warm cup of almond milk with a pinch of nutmeg before bed. Simple, but sometimes comforting remedies can help her rest better.

Incorporate a consistent sleep routine – lights dimmed, no loud noises before bed. A warm oil massage, using sesame oil, can sometimes help soothe her energy and calm her mind before sleeping. Just a gentle massage on head and feet to relax her senses and promote better sleep.

To address her dizziness during the day she might benefit from a regular schedule of meals to keep her blood sugar stable. Have her eat something small and healthy every few hours. Foods that are easy to digest, like broths or cooked vegetables, can be best.

Short walks or light exercise can also stimulate flow, but I’d say clear any exercise regimen with her doctor, wouldn’t want exertion until you get her checked out properly. Make sure she’s drinking enough water as well, dehydration doesn’t help.
