I have heavy hair fall with visibal bald patches and lifeless thin hair with dandruff. And my hairs are getting grey too fast. I am 42 yr old mother of a 5 yr old boy. After the delivery it's too bad now.

Diet

Eat warm, nourishing foods like ghee, milk, and fresh vegetables. Include foods rich in iron, calcium, and healthy fats like sesame seeds, almonds, and leafy greens. Avoid spicy, fried, and processed foods that increase Pitta. Stay hydrated with warm water and herbal teas. Herbs

Take Amla (Indian Gooseberry) for cooling Pitta and rejuvenating hair. Bhringraj and Brahmi are beneficial for hair growth. Apply Triphala powder for internal cleansing if digestion is sluggish. Hair Care Massage the scalp with Bhringraj or Coconut oil mixed with a few drops of Neelibhringadi oil 3-4 times a week. Use a gentle herbal shampoo. Avoid chemical-based hair products. Apply a hair mask using Amla, Brahmi, and Aloe Vera once a week. Lifestyle

Practice Abhyanga (self-massage) with warm oil to calm Vata. Ensure 7-8 hours of sleep. Lack of sleep aggravates hair fall. Manage stress through yoga, meditation, or Pranayama. Let’s start with nutrition 'cause that’s big. Include foods rich in B vitamins and zinc, they’re great for hair. Whole grains, nuts - almonds, walnuts - and green leafy veggies are your friends. But, also, avoid spicy, greasy foods, and caffeine. They mess with Pitta, aggravating hair concerns.

Now, for treating the scalp, I’d say try regular scalp massages with warm oil. Coconut or sesame oil with a little bit of bhringaraj oil can work wonders. Do it twice a week, 30 mins before wash, it nourishes hair roots, calms Vata and improves blood circulation.

Shampoos that are loaded with chemicals are no good. Use a gentle, herbal shampoo. Maybe try reetha or shikakai to wash your hair, they’re natural and less harsh.

Greying too early, ah, that can be a sign of Pitta, stress or genetics. But bring natural elements in, like amla; you can eat it, juice it, use it in your hair mask, it’s awesome for controlling greying. Also, yoga or meditation can really help reduce stress.

Since dandruf’s bugging you, consider making a paste with neem leaves. Apply it 30 mins before washing your hair. It has antibacterial properties to help reduce dandruff and purify your scalp.
