I have been having issues with Gastritis since last few years and this started after i contacted covid 3 years back. Since the last 4 months it is aggravated inspite of severe food restrictions. I have been taking the following ayuvedic remedies 1. Kamadudha rasa 1 - 0 - 0 2. Kamadudha plain 0 - 0 - 1 3. Amlapitta Mishra. 15ml TDS 4. Praval Panchamrit plain 0 - 1/2 - 1 5. Shankhavati 0 - 1 - 1/2 Since th4 past 4 months the symptoms only have ameliorated mildly but not returned to normal. I still have loss of appetite, mild sour saliva after meals, on-off epigastric pains, pains in hypogastric regions , mild constipation. I eat sufficient fibre in the diet with sufficient vegetables. Even fermented curd rice gives me heaviness. I cannot take lentils as they become difficult to digest, ghee and oils diffllicult to digest I am taking the simplest of foods 1. Morning Fermented curd rice, 1 small chapati, beetroot and carrot boiled sabji 2. Afternoon. Chapati , plain white rice, Green cauliflower peas sabji, Yellow pumpkin and raw banana sabji. Knol khol boiled sabji . 3. Night - same as afternoon but reduced quantity Drink 7-8 glasses of water

Since your symptoms have only mildly improved with your current treatment, some refinements may help Instead of shankavati switch on to Avipattikara churna- 1/4 th tsp before meals with fresh water Alovera juice 10 mL with water once daily Avoid fermented curds,reduce raw fibre , instead of lentils use moongdal,avoid cauliflower peas Soak 5 black raisins at night and wat them at morning 1 tsp ghee with milk at night ( if tolerated)

Lentils refers to all Daal varieties. Milk lactose intolerance and ghee currently a bit difficult to digest. So milk and ghee cannot take a teaspoon night.

Could you please elaborate on replacing shankhavati with Avipattikar churna. Aloe vera juice is it OK to take the ones that are available ready packaged difficult to get the fresh leaves. What is the best time to take this ?

Instead of shankavati take Avipattikara churna 1/2 tsp before meals (1/2 an hr) with fresh water Among lentils preferably take moongdal If you are lactose intolerant then avoid it You can take packaged alovera juice preferably at morning on empty stomach diluted with water start with 10 mL

In ayurveda h.pylori is similar to weak digestion and sometimes gastric pain due to indigestion so acc treatment is given
