सभी समस्याओं का मूल कारण- आयुर्वेद में अग्नि (पाचन तंत्र) स्वास्थ्य के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कारक है जब अग्नि कमजोर या असंतुलित होती है -भोजन ठीक से पचता नहीं है -आंशिक रूप से पचा हुआ भोजन आमा (विषाक्त पदार्थ) में बदल जाता है -आमा पाचन और चयापचय नलिकाओं को अवरुद्ध करता है -इससे गैस, एसिडिटी, पेट फूलना, अस्पष्ट गति, थकान और मानसिक सुस्ती होती है

दोष असंतुलन -वात दोष- अनियमित खान-पान, तनाव, ठंडा खाना खाने से गैस, सूजन, कब्ज, कंधे में दर्द होता है

-पित्त दोष- मसालेदार, तैलीय, देर से खाने, क्रोध से बढ़ता है- एसिड रिफ्लक्स, जलन, सिरदर्द और नींद में खलल डालता है

-कफ दोष- भारी भोजन, अधिक खाने से बढ़ता है- मेटाबॉलिज्म धीमा होता है, भारीपन, थकान, जीभ पर लेप होता है
