Suffering from Low BP SINCE 2MONTHS 91/65. IT STARTED 6 MONTHS BACK WHEN I INCURRED THIS ISSUE WHICH CONTINUED FOR 3 MONTHS. THEN AFTER A GAP IT OCCURED AGAIN . KINDLY PROVIDE A MEANINGFUL SOLUTION SO SOVLE THE MATTER

Avoid spicy, oily and processed food. Regular exercise. Increase intake of raw vegetables and fruits. Drink sufficient quantity of water. Tab.Yashtimadhu 2-0-2 Ashwagandharishta 15ml twice after meal with lukewarm water

Managing low blood pressure, or hypotension, requires a careful look at your body’s constitution and lifestyle. From an Ayurvedic perspective, low blood pressure can be associated with an imbalance in the Vata dosha, which needs grounding and nourishment. First, it’s essential to ensure you’re not experiencing severe symptoms like dizziness or fainting that may need immediate medical attention.

A stable daily routine can help in balancing Vata. Prioritize a consistent schedule for waking, eating, and sleeping. Regularity brings a rhythm to the body’s biological clock. Stay warm and avoid exposure to cold weather as it can aggravate Vata. Aim for light exercise or yoga routines that help improve circulation and enhance digestion, as a well-functioning Agni (digestive fire) is crucial for overall health.

When it comes to diet, emphasize warm, nutritious food. Include more whole grains, stews, soups, and cooked vegetables. Favor grounding and nourishing foods like root vegetables and healthy fats – ghee, sesame oil or olive oil. Ashwagandha and herbl teas, especially those having ginger or cinnamon, can be uplifting. Be cautious to avoid making te them too spicy.

Hydration is key, as dehydration can worsen low BP. Sip warm water throughout the day to keep yourself hydrated. You might also consider adding a pinch of salt, or sipping on coconut water—it’s nourishing and gentle for the stomach.

It’s also beneficial to manage stress through meditation or relaxation techniques. When stress levels are high, it can lead to an erratic Vata. A few minutes of daily mindfulness or simple breathing exercises can contribute significantly to lowering stress.

Avoid fasting or irregular eating patterns, these can strongly disturb Vata, leading to further aggravation of your condition. Some herbs, like licorice (Mulethi), are considered beneficial for hypotension. But, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any herbal medications.

While ayurveda offers wonderful support, it’s vital to stay in touch with your physician; they can monitor your situation and make sure that these recommendations are working for you. If symptoms persist or worsen, it’s critical to seek professional medical advice.
