Gastritis and eshopagitis issue - #2673

I have pain in ribcage area and backpain due to gasteritis and heart palpitation and also pain in chest areas. As of now in medication. What type of foods do i need to overcome this issue and need some remedies in all aspects to overcome gastritis

First thing with diet—try to go easy on spicy, fried, and too greasy stuff. Those kinda foods can stir up the Pitta dosha, making things worse. Instead, focus on incorporating cooling and soothing foods in your diet. Think stuff like cooked rice, oatmeal, boiled veggies, and things that are generally easy on the tummy. Cabbage juice is surprisingly good for soothing the stomach lining, if you have the patience to make some.

Now, hydration is crucial. Drink water, but not cold. Warm or room-temp water gets along with your digestive fire or agni. Adding a piece of ginger to your water could help, ginger can be soothing for the stomach, just a slice though, you don’t want to overdo it.

For remedies, licorice root (mulethi) is typically suggested in Ayurveda for gastritis. A half teaspoon of its powder mixed in with lukewarm water, perhaps twice a day, may help in providing some relief. Turmeric also has anti-inflammatory properties, you can add a pinch to your regular meals. Keep in mind, you gotta listen to your body; if something isn’t feeling right, stop that.
