Iron overload with low serum ferritin, combined with symptoms of heart arrhythmia and vertigo, presents a complex scenario. First, addressing underlying causes, like medical conditions leading to these symtpoms, is essential, so please don’t skip consultations with conventional health providers.

In Ayurveda, your Vata-Pitta imbalance indicates that lifestyle and dietary changes need to be aligned with your dosha requirements. Begin with grounding and pacifying Vata by incorporating warm, oily, and nourishing foods. Pitta should be calmed by avoiding overly spicy, sour and salty foods which may aggravate this dosha.

For your concern around heart health, Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) is renowned as a cardio-protective herb. A decoction made by boiling its bark in water might help support heart function. Generally taken half a teaspoon twice daily, it should complement your heart care routine, after getting green light from healthcare provider.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), might help with both vertigo and arrhythmia. Often recommended as a powder, consume a teaspoon with warm milk or water before bed to support Vata balance.

Practice moderate exercises, focusing on yoga postures like Shavasana, Matsyasana, and Bhramari Pranayama, which help stabilize heart rhythm and calm Vata-Pitta imbalances. Ensure you warm up your body adequately before intense exercise to avoid spikes in heart rate.

Regular schedules, with early bedtimes and waking hours, can be beneficial in regulating your circadian rhythms affected by dosha imbalances. Rest is vital—over-exertion can exacerbate your symptoms.

Hydration is crucial. Sip warm, clean water throughout the day rather than big gulps, and incorporate a pinch of ginger or cumin to support digestion and regularize metabolic activities, as imbalanced Agni (digestive fire) can impact overall health.

Ultimately, it is vital to work closely with practitioners familiar with all aspects of your health, including symptoms that require more urgent attention outside Ayurvedic scope.

Iron overload can indeed affect various systems in the body, including the heart. The heart arrhythmias you’re experiencing could relate to this, potentially stressing the heart and leading to irregular heartbeats. This is certainly something to discuss with a healthcare professional, especially since heart concerns can be serious.

In traditional Siddha-Ayurvedic context, a vata-pitta imbalance like yours might contribute to symptoms like rapid heartbeat and vertigo. This imbalance can affect the heart if the vata dosha creates irregular electrical activity, while pitta might drive inflammation or heat in the tissue. In Ayurveda, a supportive approach involves balancing these doshas and strengthening the heart through specific tonics and lifestyle adjustments.

Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) is frequently used in Ayurveda as a heart tonic. It can be taken as a powder or a capsule, ideally with milk, wherein you mix around half to one teaspoon in warm milk and consume it twice a day. This herb is known for its support of cardiac function and balancing properties for both vata and pitta doshas.

For managing vertigo upon waking, consider practicing gentle neck exercises and ensuring you rise slowly from bed. A routine of pranayama like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) can help balance vata and manage stress, which often exacerbates arrhythmia. Do this daily for around 10–15 minutes, preferably in a calm environment.

Consult with a healthcare provider for regular monitoring and additional options, integrating these recommendations carefully to suit your needs without delay or substitution of necessary conventional care. Always prioritize safety in heart-related issues.
