I am really struggling with this intense acidity issue lately. Feels like my stomach is constantly on fire, and it’s messing with my sleep and eating habits. My friend suggested that I try buttermilk since I've heard that it’s calming for the stomach. Like, I always thought that buttermilk was something to drink with curry or pair with spicy food, but now I’m wondering if it could actually help? Can buttermilk reduce acidity for real? I've tried those over-the-counter antacids, and they work temporarily, but I'm looking for something more natural, you know? The other day, I had this big lunch, way too heavy, and OMG the burn was awful. I remember my mom always saying buttermilk helps with digestion, but can buttermilk reduce acidity in a noticeable way?
