I am really worried about something I’ve been hearing lately. My dad, who’s always been super active and healthy, had a heart attack a few months ago. He’s only 55! I couldn’t believe it… then I started hearing more stories like his. It’s like heart attack cases are increasing everywhere. My neighbor, who seems fit too, went into the hospital last week with the same issue. Why are heart attack cases increasing like this? I feel like there’s a trend that’s not being talked about enough. I mean, I get that stress is high these days and food choices kinda suck too, but is that really it? I’d like to understand more about the lifestyle factors that might lead to this. Are there specific signs we should look for? My uncle always says that prevention is key, but what does that even mean? Would love to hear if you guys have seen anything in your practice that supports this theory that heart attack cases are increasing or if there’s something I’m completely missing here. 1. Dietary Adjustments: Include heart-friendly foods such as fresh fruits, leafy greens, whole grains, and lean proteins. Minimize consumption of processed, fried, and heavy foods that increase Ama. Incorporate spices like turmeric and ginger which enhance Agni and reduce inflammation.

2. Regular Exercise: Encourage at least 30 mins daily physical activity — brisk walking or yoga can help maintain heart health without stressing the body too much.

3. Stress Management: Practice meditation or Pranayama (breathing exercises) regularly to keep mental doshas balanced. Even a few minutes a day can make a significant difference.
