Considering the situation with your LVEF and recent stent placements, it’s crucial to prioritize ongoing care under your cardiologist’s guidance. Ayurveda offers support but should complement, not replace, medical treatment. With your current regimen of blood thinners and medicines, always consult your doctor before introducing any new supplements or herbs.

In Ayurveda, improving heart health revolves around balancing vata dosha, strengthening sadhaka pitta, and nurturing shleshaka kapha. Certain herbs and lifestyle practices can aid in this process:

1. Arjuna Bark (Terminalia arjuna) - Known for its cardioprotective properties, Arjuna can help to improve cardiac function and circulation. It’s recommended to take it as a decoction or in powder form, typically 3-5 grams mixed with warm water, twice daily. Yet, monitor your response and check with a healthcare professional to avoid any interaction.

2. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) - This adaptogen can alleviate stress and support overall vitality. A typical dosage is 300-500 mg of standardized extract once or twice daily, taken with milk or warm water.

3. Dietary Support - Focus on a diet rich in organic fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Minimize processed foods, excessive salt, and saturated fats to support heart health.

4. Lifestyle Practices - Daily practices like yoga and pranayama (breathing exercises) can enhance heart efficiency. Practices like Anulom Vilom or alternate nostril breathing for 5-10 minutes twice a day may prove beneficial.

5. Meditation and Rest - Ensure adequate rest and incorporate regular meditation practice to reduce stress levels and improve overall well-being.

While these elements of Ayurveda may help support your heart health, maintaining consistency with your prescribed medications and consulting with your cardiologist is of utmost importance. Never use Ayurvedic treatments as a substitute for conventional medical care, especially in critical conditions like yours.

Based on the Siddha-Ayurvedic tradition, it’s essential to complement your existing medical regimen with holistic practices that focus on balancing the doshas, specifically addressing any underlying Vata disturbances. It’s crucial to continue with all prescribed allopathic medications as heart conditions are serious and require both modern and traditional approaches for management.

First, consider incorporating a diet that enriches the Ojas (vital energy) and strengthens the heart (Hridaya). This includes foods such as almonds, walnuts, and fresh dairy products if tolerated. cardamom and cinnamon can be used in cooking to enhance circulation. Reducing refined sugars, deep-fried foods and processed goods can also contribute to better heart health.

In terms of Ayurvedic herbs, Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) is well-regarded for supporting cardiac function. Regular intake of Arjuna powder can potentially aid in improving heart muscle strength. Recommend taking a teaspoon of Arjuna bark powder mixed with warm water twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach.

Practices like Pranayama, particularly Anulom-Vilom and Nadi Shodhana, can help in balancing energy channels and reducing stress, which can indirectly affect heart health. Aim for 10-15 minutes daily, ensuring a calm and distraction-free environment.

Additionally, regular gentle yoga tailored to your abilities such as Bhujangasana and Shavasana can promote relaxation and improve circulation, thus supporting cardiac function. Be consistent but ensure not to over-exert yourself.

While these recommendations may support heart health, closely follow medical advice from your cardiologist to prevent any complications. Immediate professional medical attention is necessary for any severe symptoms like chest pain or breathlessness, without delay.
