I am really curious about how to eat gulkand, like, is there a right way or something? Been struggling with digestion issues for weeks, and my friend suggested gulkand might help. The other day I bought a jar of it thinking it would be easy, but now I'm stuck! I tried just eating a spoonful, but honestly, it felt too sweet, like way too sweet for me! I’ve also read that it’s supposed to be good for cooling the body and all, but I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong. Like, can you mix it into something? I attempted putting it in my yogurt, but didn't quite enjoy the combination...maybe I just go with plain milk? Help! I just keep wondering how to eat gulkand effectively without feeling like I'm off my taste game. Am I supposed to just take small amounts or can I just dollop it on everything? Also, does it have any side effects if eaten too much? Because my gut has been acting up and idk if that’s connected. Ugh, I’m confused! Any tips would be so useful!!!

1. Mix it into warm milk: Stirring a small amount of gulkand into warm milk can balance the sweetness and make a soothing tonic helpful for digestion, especially at night. Ensure milk is lukewarm, as too hot or too cold can disturb digestion.

2. Infuse in water: Dissolving gulkand in warm water creates a naturally sweetened drink that’s gentle on your palette. This is particularly useful during hot weather for its cooling properties.

3. Pair with bread or chapati: Spreading gulkand thinly on whole-grain bread or chapati can make for a palatable and slightly indulgent snack.

4. Avoid heavy or cold combinations: Since you mentioned yogurt didn’t work, it’s best to steer clear of cold and heavy combinations as they can aggravate digestion issues.

Consuming too much gulkand might lead to an imbalance in Kapha and can trigger symptoms such as lethargy or heaviness. Its excessive use could also, paradoxically, affect your digestion negatively.
