I am really confused about this whole papaya and curd thing! Like, I love both of them separately, right? But my mom keeps saying that papaya and curd shouldn’t be mixed or something. She insists its bad for digestion and I’ve read a few things online that mentions similar stuff. Last week, I had this really yummy smoothie at a cafe that had papaya and curd mixed together, and it tasted soooo good! But now I’m wondering if I’ve messed something up. I usually have a pretty strong stomach, but I’ve been dealing with some bloating and a bit of discomfort lately, and I’m just puzzled! If papaya and curd together is not ok, then why did that smoothie not bother me? I mean, I’ve seen some recipes that even combine them, but also heard from friends that they should never be eaten together, like, it can cause tummy issues? Can we eat papaya and curd together or is this just some old wives’ tale? And what if I just ate a little bit of both at once last night? Am I gonna regret it?! Just really looking for advice, because I don’t want to make my stomach feel worse. Anyone have any thoughts on papaya and curd together? Thanks!
