Burning in the upper abdomen till my throat my chest pain and burping so much and sometime feel like dizziness and neusea

Oh man, feeling that burning! It’s not fun, huh? It sounds like you’ve got a classic case of what we call acid reflux or even GERD. In Ayurveda, this often relates to an imbalance of the Pitta dosha, which is all about fire and heat in your body. When that Pitta gets out of whack, you end up with all these fiery symptoms like burning and acidity moving upward.

Let’s see, first thing, you gotta chill out that heat. Stick to more cool, soothing foods; like cucumbers, melon, or even some coconut water could do the job. Avoid those spicy, oily, and overly sour foods for now, they’re just feeding the fire.

Try eating smaller, lighter meals; don’t stuff yourself too much at once, and maybe steer clear of late-night snacks. Give your digestive system a break.

Now, for that burping and burning, an old trick is to chew on some fennel seeds after meals. Fennel helps in cooling and digestion, so it might ease the burp-burps a bit. Also, sipping on warm water, not cold, throughout the day helps stabilize your agni, or digestive fire.
