While hypothyroidism can be quite challenging, Ayurveda offers some promising approaches to support your condition alongside your current treatment. First, it’s important to acknowledge that your thyroid value of 15.7 indicates a significant imbalance which does need careful monitoring. Thyronorm is crucial in managing this, so continue with your prescribed dose while exploring complementary Ayurvedic methods.

Begin by addressing your diet and lifestyle, as these are integral in managing weight and thyroid balance. An optimal diet for hypothyroidism would be light and easy to digest, focusing on foods that enhance metabolism. Favor warm, cooked meals and try incorporating spices such as ginger, cumin, black pepper, and coriander, which can help stimulate agni, or digestive fire. Avoid raw foods, cold, and excessively heavy or oily foods which can dampen metabolism. Mild natural sweeteners like honey, when taken in moderation, might help in improving metabolic activity. Make sure to stay well-hydrated but minimize consumption of cold drinks.

Exercise is essential yet should be suited to your current capacity; short, daily walks or gentle yoga can aid in weight management and overall well-being. Pranayama, such as Kapalbhati, may enhance metabolism and improve energy levels. However, consult a yoga instructor to ensure you perform these correctly.

Certain Ayurveda herbs like Triphala have been traditionally employed to balance kapha-related issues like weight gain, but should be consumed under guidance. Ashwagandha is known for its thyroid supportive properties and can be discussed with your practitioner if it suits your constitution.

Stress management is also key: practices like meditation or mindfulness regularly can influence hormonal balance favorably. Regular sleep patterns and avoiding late-night activities are helpful.

Always work with an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner who can tailor these recommendations specifically to your unique prakriti and health status. Regular monitoring of your thyroid levels is essential to adjust your treatments appropriately.

Your situation calls for a careful approach in balancing the thyroid function and managing weight through Ayurvedic principles. Hypothyroidism is related to kapha imbalance and sluggishness of agni—the metabolic fire. To address this, consider dietary changes: include plenty of warming, light foods that stimulate digestion such as ginger, black pepper, and turmeric. Avoid heavy, oily, and cold foods which can aggravate kapha. Favor barley, millet, and green leafy vegetables.

Regular exercise is key; it helps regulate metabolism and balances doshas. Aim for at least 30 minutes of brisk walking or other aerobic exercises daily. Pranayama, especially kapalbhati and anulom-vilom, can support thyroid function by encouraging the flow of prana along the nadis.

Try incorporating herbs like kanchanar guggulu, which is traditionally used for thyroid and lymphatic support, but consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to find the right dosage and combination specifically suited for you. Triphala churna, taken with warm water before bed, may assist detoxification and support digestive health.

Establishing a routine is also essential. Eat meals at regular times, ensuring dinner is light and consumed at least two hours before sleeping. Prioritize sufficient sleep to support your body’s natural processes.

Since the TSH levels are significantly raised, do continue your conventional treatment and consult with your healthcare provider to monitor the thyroid function closely. The integration of Ayurvedic practices alongside your current medication can supplement and perhaps enhance overall health, but regular medical oversight is vital.
