My 12-year-old daughter is experiencing a noticeable presence of mucus in her stool, which is characterized by a slippery, jelly-like substance that is either clear or slightly yellowish. This mucus is visibly mixed with her bowel movements, which she is having more frequently than usual. She finds herself needing to go to the bathroom multiple times a day, significantly more often than her normal routine. Along with the increased frequency, the consistency of her stool may vary, sometimes appearing looser or more watery, with the mucus distinctly present. This change in her bowel habits might be accompanied by sensations of urgency, where she feels a strong need to have a bowel movement, and possibly experiences discomfort or a feeling of incomplete evacuation. These symptoms are concerning and suggest that there might be an underlying issue affecting her digestive system.

Since you don’t have other symptoms like pain, fever, or blood, it may just be temporary. We’ll keep an eye on it, and if it doesn’t improve or if new symptoms appear, we’ll check it further. —Treatment 1)Kutajghan Vati – 1 tab BD after food 2)Bilwadi Churna – 2 gm BD with lukewarm water 3)Mustakarishta – 10 ml + equal water BD after food —Duration: 7–10 days ----Diet Advice Light diet (khichdi, rice gruel, moong dal) Warm, freshly prepared food Avoid curd, fried food, junk food, excess milk —Follow-up: After 7 days
